ET 发帖数: 10701 | 1 i hit so well at range and took off to play 9 holes yesterday. What I wanted
to figure out was if my driver is not suitable for me any more. So I hit
two balls at each tee box except those 2 par3s, using my driver and 3-wood
respectively. What I knew was there was
only about 10 yards difference at most. Normally, there is supposed to be at
least 25-yard
difference.
I knew my shaft of driver is too soft and too light. The standard shaft
coming with the driver is a 50g, low kick Aldna one. My 3-wo |

shafts and lofts combination.
you should use x-stiff shaft. hehe.
12 G.I.R. WOW, close to pros already. You should easily break par if you
spend some time on short game.
I pulled the muscle on my back. Can't hit balls. so I spent at least 1.5
hours every day on my short game last week. feel like improved a lot. Can't
wait to recover and see what i can do on course.

'coz my driver has an offset head, the cobra offset mspeed 10.5 degree.
which confused me a lot in terms of the alignment, especially when work with
my 3,5 wood. So I want to change it anyway. On the other hand, since I can
always hit the ball whereever i want, it's so hard for me to make any change
. Seriously, it's my favoriate club in my bag. it never betrays me.
its loft is not right for me as well. Cobra says this driver goes 245-265

ET 发帖数: 10701 | 11 cross slope..
like right foot high, left foot lower, I called it hook lie. if it's on the
other way around, it's slice lie..
so after hitting many balls, the human body has to be adjusted to fit that
lie. if continue to hit in that slope for several days, or months, you will
image the body setup will be distorted. So it's hard to hit good balls from
a normal lie.
that's why I felt so good 2 days ago when pratice at those pro's spots. |

it reminds me how I tried to hit solid shot in summer, 2005. I focus on that
part too.
golf swing is.. just like an endless loop, back and forth, back and forth...
I tried to work on my swing plane and downswing initiating today. Suddently,
the feel I had days ago disappeared. I miss-hit many balls. It was rare
for my past months pratice. and I was able to quickly pick it up once I made
some adjustment, but seems it's not this time.

ET 发帖数: 10701 | 15 that's bad thought, man, I gotta tell you.
Confidence is built from good results, no matter pratice session or on-
course. not mention some difficult ball lies.
There is no perfect swing. Human body changes daily. How could one swing fit
the daily basic variation. also golf is a game of missing. Tiger claims
there is only one perfect shot in his life (before 2002), what do you think?
you need a right tool to help make the missing shot not that bad.

Both are really good.
There are something I've learnt when playing with them,
1) chances of birdies or better.
Definitely they have more chances to get birdies or better for those easy
holes, due to their accurate approach shots and committment.
I won't say their ball-strike capability is better th |

another question is these days i found i can control direction by turning my

balls in a month i got some feelings just want ot check with highhands. and

golf swing is the connection of upper body rotation and the lower body.
power comes from the hip which applies all sports - tennis, badminton,
football (baseball)....
it's always not easy at the beginning. that's why we need pratice.

ET 发帖数: 10701 | 24 man, I would say these tips from Tiger are the best I've ever read.
I have not seen this before until you posted it here. I found these on my
own, actually.
Back to 2 years ago, I praticed chipping at home, I tried the irons around,
and realized if I could make good contact for long irons (judge by the sound
, and how the ball rolls) by the chipping motion, there is no reason that I
couldn't hit long irons good when doing the full swing.
since then, I focus on the contact more than anything els |

ET 发帖数: 10701 | 25 i would say , just pratice at home, like on the carpet, do some small & tiny
movement to feel what's the difference. try 10 or 20 balls, you will find
sometimes, the contact is so crisp, effortless, then remember that, repeat
and see if you can hit more like that.
or other similar scenaior is, bounce a tennis ball on the tennis racquet. u
can feel what the sweet spot delives on the ball.

ET 发帖数: 10701 | 27 lately I putt the ball pretty well. had 3-birdie several times for 9 holes.
Not only am I more serious about the each pratice session by focusing on the
"score capability", but also I improve my putting technique, and mental
side. Another example is today's charity golf tourament.
The format is scramble. best-ball from 4 players. Our team score is -9. the
last hole bogey pissed off totally. but anyway, it happened.
so I made 5 clutch putts for birdie. The cluth means 3 players of my team

play all shots (if possible) using ur 7 iron.
a 300 yards par 4, ur 7 goes 150 yars, 7+7, u can reach green.
a 340 yards, 7+7, u have about 40 yards left, then try your pitching/
chipping, get the ball on green by the 3rd shot, 2 putts for bogey.
480 par 5, it's 3-shot of 7 again, u can still reach green by 3 shots, and 2

ET 发帖数: 10701 | 35 lost the confidence by a 5-foot putt?
just think some tour players are also missing the 1-foot one.
like last weekend's PGA tournament, Crowne Plaza. #17, Rampling hit a nice
bunker shot, put the ball like 1-foot away from the pin. He was 1-shot
leading with Phil Mikerson. He just missed it.
5-3 foot is the distance people called "embrassing distance." it is not as
simple as i looked like, say, in the putting green. still, you need to

ET 发帖数: 10701 | 37 not too much difference..
focus on your head position, make sure your head is 'BEHIND" the ball in the

i don't clean my clubs that often as before since I don't pratice driving

i like Ping's collegiate bag with school's logo. Unfortunately, my school is

ET 发帖数: 10701 | 41 don't think so..
that senior Steve told me he has been playing for 60 years. he is learning..
my game in the first 4 months of 2008 was so good regarding the iron/
pitching/chipping/putting. I thought I would be there pretty soon. Now it's

I still think the way I played in the past month is the right way to swing

sense.

那个真是要自己体会,自己让自己去postive thinking, 还要play it seriously, but
don't think it heavely. |
