我还在震惊中，嫂子今年45岁了，是一名老师，人长得漂亮，平时生活很是规律，注意
运动和保养，早已顺利评上高级职称，上一个月还和我哥开开心心出去旅游一周回来。
日子对两人来说真是越过越好，正到事业稳定，经济没有负担，开始好好享受生活的
时候。 没想到因为嫂子一场腹痛，我哥就想着趁着十一假期带着我嫂子去医院检查一
下吧，竟然是恶性肿瘤，据说瘤子已有十几公分大。她的单位也是每年都组织体检的，
不知道为什么竟然没有检查出来。他们本来不想让其他人知道，以免让家人承担不必要

pole. The sign was quite small -- even smaller than the diameter of the
pole. It was very hard to be seen in the night (think about the blue sign on
a brown pole when street light is not on).
In old days meters were used and it was easy to identify the disability
parking spot. But now kinkos is being used everywhere so you get the ticket
once you miss the sign. |

个安全测试结合起来看会更全面。五星的项目就不列了，把低于5星的项目列出来，供
各位买车的同学参考。
结论：按照NHTSA的安全测试标准，安全性最好的是CRV/RDX兄弟俩，最差的是Tiguan和
Rogue。（注：奔驰GLC没有测试，从GLC/GLK的iihs结果，相信其安全性好于CRV/RDX。）

思路是：先假定第一个元素就是pole，然后从位置1开始往后扫描。
如果后面的值都大于它，那正好，它就是了。
如果后面有值小于它，说明迄今为止的值都不可能为pole,下一个可能的pole是第一个
比迄今为止最大值还大（或相等)的值。
偷懒了一下假定原数组值都是正的。

俺前两天闲来无事，搭线、打洞、补墙，给车库装了个30Amp/240V的线路。
线是前一阵子HD sale的时候买的10/3 NM-B 100 feet wire (orange, flat cable
wire)，花了$70左右。
其他东东是按照俺在lowes买的ultimate wiring guide里讲的买来的，包括：
- Siemens Model # Q230U 30 Amp Type QP Double-Pole Circuit Breaker
这个有两个螺丝固定的hot wire孔，把两根hot wire剥皮3/4"，塞进去拧上。然后
将整个breaker推进power panel的空槽里即可。地线用那根裸铜线，接在ground bar上
就好。主panel上的ground bar和neutral bar是接在一起的。
- 3/8" Non-Metallic (NM) Twin-Screw Cable Clamp Connectors (5-Pack)
这个用来固定进入配电箱的电线。

- 你家这70/5uF HD好像没有，他家只有网购，慢，最大的好像60/5uF. Amazon或者
ebay买吧。
- 修空调机要小心，因为电压是240V，出问题轻则烧糊、打坏工具/线路。重则伤及
身体甚至生命。不过只要意识到危险的存在，通常问题不大。那个大电容用手碰之前记
住放电。
- 电容可以用能测电容值的万用表测是否坏掉，一般万用表没此功能，再加上电容不
贵，所以如果不是看起来完好无损、崭新干净，最简单的就是干脆换掉。
- 换掉电容可能也不工作，下一个目标是contactor。这玩意儿就是里面有一个吸附
线圈的继电器，由那个thermostat控制的24V电压吸住从而启动空调运作，24V停止则放
开从而断路停止空调。有单pole、双pole、甚至三pole之分，去网上学习一下再用电压
表可以测入出端的电压即可判断是否损坏。
- 再不工作就需要顺藤摸瓜往里查，比如像俺的case，背后的风扇电线烧断了。
- 空调外机附近墙上通常有一个可以把插的开关，对修理的人很方便，你不用里里外
外跑来泡去了。

看，contractor 说他的方法是把原来的木桩(pole)用电锯割掉（到地面平），然后在
旁边一英尺左右的地方打洞，浇水泥，放新的桩(pole)。
我原来以为，他会把旧的桩从原来的位置整个都拿出来，旧水泥也全哪出来，然后放新
的桩(pole)到原来的位置。 但说这太费力。
请问contractor的方法有什么弊端？
我在湾区，如果有好的contractor， 请推荐。

想到那孙子竟然说“No, I am gonna stand right here." 我XXXXX...当时我也没话说
了，人家不让有什么办法，只能硬抓着。后来我也give up了，他不让我抓，我就靠着
他。靠死他，烦死他。
再后来我下车了走的时候对他说“bye, have a nice day, asshole!"

上周六去Washington dc 跑了north face 的 50km, 成绩非常一般 7小时43分钟，不过
天时（天气酷热，当天34度，感觉40度），地利（从多伦多一路开车过来，跑前只睡了
4个小时觉），人和（跑前训练不规律，尤其缺乏山地训练）都不在， 最后能够顺利完
成，没有中暑，抽筋，受伤就算成功。
记一下具体的过程，比较唐，希望能给一些像我这样的基础差，训练不系统，指望快走
就能搞定trail running 的人的经验教训。
这个比赛是两个月之前定的，目的主要是适应/体验一下trail running 的感觉，并为
utmb攒一个点数，目标是不受伤完成就好，希望能在7小时之内跑完。
跑前有训练，但是因为工作忙，还有出差，所以跑的不系统，最高的一周大约50km, 其

The nice things about this small boat is that it havs 8 fishing pole holders,
4 each side, and has a fish finder (the previous owner did not find the
finder
head today, and promised find it soon). I am new to trolling fishing, and
will have lost of time to practice this soon. The 50hp motor is supposed to
be able to push the boat at 40mph.

俺是持不同观点的。
俺2003开始玩spinning，2006开始玩BC，据俺有限的知识和经验打个比方：
BC如果是个钳子，spinning就像带钳子的多功能工具，上面钳子的功能也许不如单个的
钳子强大，但是钳子是干不了改锥的活的。
大家各有所爱我能理解，就像有的人开车赶路，有的人要越野，有的人就是纯玩车，啥
车好当然想法不一样。海钓的牛牛如果说once go conventional，you will be save.
我也能理解。
然则这个坛子新手众多，潜水新手也多，（虽然这帮子家伙看贴不回帖非常可恶，）
给他们一个开放的视界和多元的信息还是很必要的。

船艇（Kayak, Canoe)等的类似Powerpole/Talon的东西。这个东西对河钓将会极端有用！

渔具方面，Shimano和Loomis包揽了大部分钓竿和线轮的奖项。
淡水是Shimano的新一代Chronarch CI4+，用了新的SVS离心力刹车。这个刹车我在新款
的Antares上用了一年多，感觉还是很稳定的，至于调整方便，其实我也不怎么调刹车
，所以也没感觉多大方便。刹车有点类似Abu的Flying arm，但是作用方向不同。考虑
到价格因素，这个Chronarch应该还是很有优势的，相比Antares。
说到Abu，他家把JDM的轮子弄到米国了，魔龙也来了。很多老版的圆形轮子也又回来了。
海水是Shimano的Stella 3W。
淡水竿子是Loomis的阿拉巴马钓组用竿子。

法抬起腿来。。。所以我决定除了8min abs，我还要练习gym里那个人竖着手臂撑着，

不过这对poles有两个feature特别适合backcountry ski用，一个是只有一半的basket
，适合traverse地形，另一个是把pole拆开，可以和BD的snow saw一起用，别的pole长
度和直径都无法配合 |
