I finally find out what your tree--and flowers--is.
(1) I consider many possibilities.
One was the original posting was a hoax. I live in Boston, Massachusetts. On
the assumption that late April in Boston is about late October in Sydney,
Australia, I found it hard to believe that trees are so green in Sydney, let
alone flowers in bloom. (In boston, leaves change color and started falling
in mass about mid-October.)

Earthworks Nursery is my favorite so far. They have a large collection of
shrubs and plants, including some uncommon Chinese plants. I bought Yuletide
Camellia, Gulf stream nandina, Holly last December, they all survived this
extremely cold winter, look healthy and strong.
Price wise, their price is similar as Lows and HD, but often you get bigger

CORN PLANT。这个最好养，长得也比较快。如果室内阳光不充足，也能长得好。
不要种peace lilly，种Spathiphyllum。Spathiphyllum是一种peace lilly hybrid，
可以长很大（一米多高），叶子很宽很光滑。即使在室内暗处也能长很好。
龟背竹（Monstera），好像很多人迷这个。龟背竹叶子很好看，用来插花挺好。龟背竹
也能长得很大。
Yucca Cane和corn plant（巴西木）性质差不多，叶子短小些罢了。我觉得看你室内地
方大小、家具摆设，如果要简洁明快的，Yucca Cane比巴西木好。（Massangeana Cane
，一般简称mass cane，叶子大小介于两者之间）。
Bird of Paradise也很好看，像个mini的芭蕉树。

viability if husks are removed.
Place nuts in a bucket of water to soften and then peel the husks by hand.
After removing husks, rinse nuts in water. Discard nuts that float; nuts
that sink have full kernels and are more likely to germinate.
Walnut seeds require stratification (cold treatment) before they will
germinate. Small quantities of nuts can be stratified in a plastic bag in a
refrigerator at 34 to 41°
