recital everyday when analyzing my data. I especiallylike his Mephisto Waltz.
So dynamical and dancy. I am not sure what happened to me. I used to being
unable to enjoy Liszt ' s music. Is it becuase the pianist? I even really like
Dante Sonata and his other works. But Memphisto Waltz is indeed a favourite
for concerts. |

read not only your part, but also the other part of the piece. You have to use
both of ears and you eyes to catch up the music. It is demanding for pianist
because other instrument only have two parts. As a panist, you really have to
be good at sigh-reading to be able to catch up the learning speed of other
members of the ensemble. And the most difficult part is accompanying singers!

Australian pianist. I can't describe well how I feel, maybe simply the sheer
beauty of music and human spirit itself. I wonder why I didn't see this movie
any time earlier. Now I can't do anything but play my Rach 2&3 CD... If anyone
out there who loves Rachmaninov (or just music) hasn't seen this movie yet...

This Chopin and Liszt album is marvelous. The pianist must have extremely
labile and slim fingers that he can move so fast, yet the touch is so even.
The Liszt Totentanz is worth the price, and the chopin etudes are equally
legendary.
It surprises me that he made the recording when he was 26-27, he was born in
1910, yet his later recordings were scarce.
Lang Lang will turn 26 this year. He's several months older than I.

program notes上说, "... puts the pianist in a fight with the piano." 就是如
此.
而且感觉没有乐团, 朗朗一个人再大力气也hi不起来, appassionata照理是很hi了, 可
是比起柴一还是差很远.
感觉是为hi而hi, 没有真hi, 那种朗朗式的标志性的表情没有出现.
朗朗还是就适合柴一拉二那种大气磅礴的concerto. |

我兩種都有,mechanical的是剛剛學琴的時候買琴送的,用了好多年,後來讀大學的時候
才買的electrical的,主要是體積小,方便練琴的時候隨身帶.
買個最簡單功能的electrical吧,pianist通常都不會用到其他太複雜的功能. |

one keyboard with harmer fell keys in the beginning, later I was able to
afford a real one. Here are a few points came from my own experience:
1. get a real piano if you want to be serious
2. fingering on techniques practice daily before pieces
3, read and think the music before your start to practice
4. counting is a must. without tempo, there is no piece.

舞曲的源起。它盛行于19世纪早期的波兰华沙地区,后来流行开来,传播至西欧更多的
国家,甚至到了北美。作者接着话题一转,感叹起音乐最初产生的环境与其最终的归宿
的大相径庭。玛祖卡最初是在舞会上演奏的,人们随音乐起舞,欢声笑语。但是现在,
人们却要正襟危坐在音乐厅里听玛祖卡,令人有些感叹。
看到这里,我想如果超越玛祖卡的话题,就音乐的本身而言,其最初产生的环境是和人
们信仰的关联比今天要紧密的多。在西方,古典音乐的起源于与宗教弥撒仪式相关的格
利高里圣咏。而在古代中国,音乐则是祭礼中不可缺少的一部分。司马迁在《史记》的
《乐书》说“礼乐皆得,谓之有德”。然而与玛祖卡一样,今天的音乐已经远离它起初

Any one heard of Hailun piano? This is made in China, and at the dealership,
we heard good quality sound. The price is lower than Yamaha/Kawai.
It is quite impressive that such good quality pianos are produced in China.
Since this is new (from 2001), there's not much time track record.
Any pianist on board have some comment about this brand? |

According to him, her youtube recordings cannot be comparable to her live
concert. Details in youtube are missing.
I also agree with you. I like her earlier recordings more, esp. the Liszt
