is 10 to 15 dollars per hour, very few can make up to 18 dollars an hour. If
you do not have to worry about the status, then try the pharmacy front
store management program may be better, that is just my thought. |

can be transfered and counted as the practise hours, I doubt the technician
can claim the hours as intern hours. |

准. 我自己 no US degree, with 3-year research experience, 1-year hospital
pharmacy volunteer in US, PCAT score(applied regular program too), normal
GPA. Usually Indian students have very high GPA, but some were denied.

PT took med, then BP dropped dramatically. She called paramedical. She
stayed in ER for half a day. She turned in $20K medical bill to us, asking
for reimbursement. These two meds have same strength, If the person who call
in RX has accent, It is easy to make mistake. always read back and confirm.

Qualification(仅供参考):
Clinical-Staff Pharmacist: 大多数医院需要PharmD,有些小医院RPh也行;大型教学医
院PharmD + PGY1或者2-3年以上工作经验
Night shift Pharmacist: RPh + 3-5年Staff工作经验 (需要心灵手快的那种)
Clinical Pharmacist: 大多数医院PharmD + PGY1或2-3年以上工作经验,RPh + 4-5年
以上工作经验;大型教学医院PharmD + PGY2或者PharmD + PGY1 + 2年以上工作经验.
Clinical Specialist/Coordinator: PharmD + PGY2;大型教学医院会要求再加2年以上
工作经验并发表过学术文章,或做过学术报告.
(注:根据ACCP指南,Pharmacy Residency可折算为工作经验, PGY1 = 2-3年,PGY2 = 5-6
年).
IT Pharmacist: RPh + 3年以上工作经验,最好有SQL知识.

. I think it is common for community pharmacist to stand a long time b/c you
may not have time to sit down if you work in a 200 scripts/day pharmacy. I
don't think there is rule not allow pharmacist sit down. However, if other
people don't sit down, how can you sit down. Plus, in community, they are
not just patients, they are customers. Have you ever see any cashier sit

school is so boring. I don't even want to call this a "career",only a "job"
with little space of developing. Though this job is high pay with relatively
low labor pressure (also means pharmacists are overpaid), what if the
entire business shrink some day? It looks unlikely today, but think about
those investment banks in the Wall street. Anything could happen, and by
that time those retail workers would be regret.

理科基础不好，出于历史原因（最初中专毕业），后来又自考的专科护理和本科心理学，
如果改学药剂，数理化能学上吗？
这样的背景申请pre pharmacy有困难吗？护理专业里有重复的是重修还是转学分呢？毕
业十几年都全忘记了！
查看了一下，州内居民六年学下来总费用：64086$，觉得还能承受，至少可以边做RN边
上药学院。

have difficulty in pharmacy school. Math and other sciences courses are not
that hard, though.
APRN may be a better way to advance your career, working in the doctor's
office or open your own clinic. You can even just see Chinese patients if
you open the clinic in Chinese community.

transferred 9 prescriptions from at least 6 different pharmacies to Target,
5/9 prescriptions were originally transferred out of Target.
Some people are famous for their coupon hopping skills.

要求太多,所有的本科政治,历史,文化...必须在美国修,有30多学分的这种无聊的课呢.
他建议我到community colleage去修这些课会便宜些.

state cut hours. The district managers are required to work in the
underperformance stores for 10hr/week. |

important. What you did during pharmacy school, leadership, competitions,
awards, publications...and also where did you receive your residency
training, etc. Try your best building up an impressive CV. |

Many students in my class are really devoted in their career. They do not
care much about being paid less and work very hard. They want to pursue 2
year residency and trying so hard working on their qualifications. I think
that also makes me motivated to compete for a residency position.

money of
course, because they usually work for about 10 hours a day, some have
pagers on 24/7, and might have to do additional work at home.
However, I don't think retail pharmacists makes easy money either. Standing
on your feet for 10-12 hours (and even 13 hrs at some pharmacies now),
dealing with demanding customers, MD offices and insurance companies. It
might not be such an appealing job for some graduates.
