重新审视自己的目标，早做intern早开窍。
还有啊，大家有人说paper重要，有人说不重要，都是具体情况具体分析，说的都有道
理，不是肯定谁对谁错。偏research的地方，paper看重点，偏应用的地方,paper看轻
点。不论哪里，都看重能力。不论怎样，Ph.D.牛paper多点肯定没坏处。但是除非你要
专心找教职或者醉心学术，没必要耗更多的时间搞paper。
还有，有人paper牛，找工作不顺。其实找工作还有个chemistry的问题。
communication 和 teamworking skill也是interview的重点之一。大家研究做久了，
可能会忽视这方面。你自己牛还不行，得别人知道你牛才行。别人不知道你牛，不一定是别人水平差，可能别人根本没时间去研究你的resume。顺便建议找工作前，fresh Ph.D.多看看interview skill的书。 |

不满意老板不管学生，我离开了原来的组，离开了原来的组之后实验室就立刻关门了，
因为老板79岁了，一直不肯退休，理由就是我还是他的学生，有研究要做。我离开之后
，老板没有理由再不退休了，迫于系里面压力只好关闭实验室退休，post doc也离开了。
前两年的工作是与一post doc合作得到的，老板退休之后实验室关门，基本上数据都是
前两年得到的。这些数据已经发表一篇论文，我是第二作者，还有一篇论文没有挂我名
，因为是离开组一年之后发的，前任老板对我离开导致实验室关门退休一直不满，所以
没有放我名字，只放了post doc名字。这些工作我和post doc各做一半，大部分是我合
成，然后一人一半拿去测试，所以我自认为工作做的也不少，至今样品与原始数据我都
保留着么。
现在Ph.D第四年了，第一二年做的东西也需要加上去工作量才够，在这种情况下，我有
理由把前两年的工作放进毕业论文吗？谢谢 |

Fresh Ph.D,半导体方向，最近拿了两个offer，求各位帮忙分析
1.国内某沿海二线城市的民企，研发岗位，所有加起来40万人民币左右的package.
2.美国某国家实验室大牛组，7万美刀左右。
家里就我一个小孩，最终肯定是要回国发展。现在两个offer也就是两种不同的人生路
径了，第一个offer就直接回去混国内的工业界了；第二个offer就是在大牛组混几年搞
点paper，然后再回去找高校的机会了。
本人无任何背景加成，无房无车，穷屌丝一枚，请大家帮忙分析分析这俩offer的利弊

什么转专业读JD的，就不要想啥回国了，没有太大用处的。
一般都是国内法律本科出来的，在国内的外国所有过经验的
出来读LLM，甚至JD的，回去还有些希望获得发展。
这个是一手的fact，不是啥传言
所以前面的讨论和其他啥地方的信息都表明
要做IP最早获得工作经验越好，但是Ph.D是一个必要条件
是你最重要的专长
而且现在涌入JD的Bio Ph.D也很多了，所以几年之后市场还会不会像目前这样
很难说
而且不太明白JD为啥对你有吸引力？ 基本都是一个体力活，按照工作小时来平均

趁现在都在讨论ME,让大家参谋参谋。
先说说具体情况:
我以前在国内就是本科学ME的,还弄了一个CS的双学位.Ph.D今年年底之前能毕业(大概三
年时间),学校一般.到年底前文章估计有5-6个比较好的会议,3-4个journal(现在还一个都
没有投)(一个是第二,其它的都应该是第一).
做的是固体方面的计算,用宏观(和FEM差不多又不同的方法)以及原子级别的模拟.
去monster看了一下基本都不能发现什么能找的工作.没有什么工作经验.有没有什么合适
的industry工作可以找?
还有一个问题,可不可以找一个post
doc让两个合作的老板同时pay钱的(两个不同的学校,合起来全职那种?)有没有谁有经验.(
个人prefer academic,主要是感觉在这方面找工作还能有点c |

制方面的统计处理计算。（他以前在国内大的工业设计单位做过工业炉或生产线设计，
后来到一美国公司做类似设计一年，后来美读书。）最近他老板拿到一个大课题，做什
么微电子方面的，也学要什么设计计算，具体我不清楚。老板想他跟着做ph.D.也许是
他们呢系第一个Ph.D. 老板说三年就毕业，很多课就不用修。我听说博士比硕士更难找
工作，这样烂学习毕业以后怎么办？现在硕士想找，东北部又不好找，真是不知怎么办
