CH2M HILL claims not to sponsor H1b for almost all the positions posted on
its website. I am wondering how you negotiated regarding this.

It seems that it is a rumor that this company doesn't sponsor H1B. For a
long time, when I saw the good positions matching my experience, I just
tossed away the job announcement.
I would appreciate if you have more negotiating experience on H1B posted

early this year.
It seems that Shaw is more reluctant to sponsor H1B, at least they didn't
further consider me (and a few others whom I know) due to this reason (or at
least partially).

only one point want to correct for MS candidates in job hunting:
MS starting position should also be level 2, level 1 is for under, and most
of the level 1 will upgrade to level 2 in 1 year. So, remember to negotiate if
you were not given level 2 |

发帖数: 912 | 14 It may be more difficult for Ph.Ds to get (phone) interview opportunities.
But once you pass the Resume screening and got interview chance to elaborate
your qualifications, that's your show time. Figure out your selling points,
e.g., comprehensive training, experience in handling complex projects,
outstanding research achievements which have practical value, etc.
Regarding resume, to avoid being rejected by HR quickly, try to stress the
importance and value of your dissertation research and its
