This verse is cited most frequently. We can call John 3:16 the gospel in on
e sentence. This verse is the best declaration of "God is love". Yes, God

您曾提到两岸三地都有迷信海外汉学的情况，其表现何在？
汪荣祖：我所见到的是，两岸三地往往不加甄别与选择就翻译海外外文出版有关汉学的书籍，这可能是“外来和尚会念经”的心理在作祟，更可能是书商的生意经。但如果没有市场，书商也不至于会去做赔钱生意。好像是外国人写的东西都是好的，有点像“五四”时代不知高下优劣地引进外文作品一样。举一个具体的例子，多年前台北的中国时报出版社要出史景迁的The Search for Modern China一书的中文版，要我推荐。我回话说，这本书是写给美国大学生作教科书用的，我在美国教中国近代史时也用过，但中文读者没有必要看这种书。然而我不推荐，一大堆名学者出面推荐，大做广告。这家出版社几乎翻译了史景迁所有的书，非常畅销。几年前史景迁访问台北，媒体大事报道。当时的“总统”是陈水扁，也来凑热闹，亲自接见，视如国师。这种一窝蜂缺少实... 阅读全帖 |

杀在摇篮中，而且早期诞生和美国差不多，是在各个竞争霸权的夹缝之间，蹦出来的一

了。日耳曼军队不是铁板一块，各自有各自的想法，有的当兵有的当匪有的外出打工实
际都是混口饭吃。这几万军属在手里是人质，能保证当兵的不会突然变成匪。你把这些
军属都杀了，明摆着是逼着日耳曼人团结成一团造反。
当然斯提里科也是有责任的。
斯提里科是Honorius他爹Theodosius I的侄女婿。Theodosius I临死前把当时还小的
Honorius交给斯提里科抚养。作为摄政王，斯提里科没能教育好Honorius，死全家也算
是摄政王的义务吧：－）。
据说“Rome perished"的消息传到Honorius的耳朵的时候，Honorius大叫一声：我刚刚
还给它喂食来着，怎么就死了？这句话见下图就明白了。 |
