交钱的话，你可以认为是不要额外交钱的。房东现在要加钱，算更改合约，需要你同意
。你不同意，他不能加。房东可以在合同过期后和你另签合同来加租，但他们是不能在
合同有效期前因你不交额外的钱赶你们走。
哪怕合同里提了additional guest要交额外的钱，这些条款按联邦法律也可能被认定为
歧视家庭而无效。不过这个也是具体情况具体分析。
只要你的租住情况符合联邦和州法律，比如没有超过一个卧室居住人口的上限，人均居
住面积超过下限，法律应该是站在你这边的。一个需要注意的地方：合同上是把这两个
房间做为Two bedrooms租的呢，还是作为One bedroom unit租的呢？
