我的看法基本上可以概括如下:
1) 由于partnership已经搞定, 短期内没有噱头了.
2) Biotech最近总体走的不好.
3) VNDA今后的看点在于销售量, 可能要一年, 至少两,三个季度才能看出点端倪, 由于
Novartis自己也有药在市场上, 它对于Fanapt的销售倒底会持什么样的态度, 我猜不出
来. 有兴趣的同志自己可以去查一下Novartis的药的专利到期时间 (2016年).
4) Fanapt的注射版出来之前可以考虑一搞.

布延长offer。因为持有JAV，scottrade发email问是否参与这个offer，加入的话就交$
25。 是新手没遇到过这种情况，请教大牛一个问题。
看了JAV网站首页上的两则消息，感觉两者还是挺可能交易成功的。如果赌这个的话，
选择加入这个offer好像是最简单的做法。 问题是如果不加入会怎样呢？看到一句“如
果并购成功, Javelin's shares would cease to be traded on the NYSE Amex”。所
以如果没通过scottrade加入这个交易的话， 手里的JAV股票还能继续买卖，或者卖给
Hospira吗？

中国有那么一批人，把子女配偶送到美国去学习定居，非法聚敛的巨额民脂民膏也转移
到了美国，甚至于本人也暗中办了一份“美国绿卡”，却在国内高举反美大旗，动不动
就在公众场合对美国口诛笔伐，大肆颂扬社会主义制度的优越性，大肆攻击民主、人权
、法治，为“中国特色”的发展模式大唱赞歌。人们奇怪的是，那些大力宣传社会主义
制度优越性的贪官政客们，为什么不把自已的亲属财产移送到“正牌社会主义国家”的
朝鲜去？！
越来越多的贪官政客喜欢“裸体做官”，有条件者多把财产和亲属转移到了国外；眼下
没有条件者也在努力创造条件。贪官政客转财移亲的首选国家不是他们满口称颂的“血

发帖数: 70028 | 43 近日，一位网友在新浪微博上发文称中美护照存在差异：“在美国护照中有这样一句话：不管你身处何方，美国政府都是你强大的后盾。在中国护照中有这样一句话：请严格遵守当地的法律，并尊重那里的风俗习惯。”
一天之内，该条微博的转发达到了5815次，而评论也有1622次之多。在网友的评论中，大多是负面评价和恶意揣测，有网友评论道：“中国人一向能忍就忍的，都成忍者神龟了。在百度上搜索发现，仅仅3天时间，关于这段“中美护照差异”的文字的网页超过百万。两家机构都称，上述微博内容纯属谣言。
我刚好最近几天休息，住在泰国当英语外教的美国人Conner家里，经过他同意后，拍了些照片，仔细对比看两国护照有什么区别。

意思和中国的那一页差不多，但措辞更严谨一些。并用了三种语言，英语，法语，西班牙语。
美国护照继承了类似于洗衣机说明书的风格，废话特别多。翻到这页就明白了，密密麻麻写满了各种出国前，出国后的注意事项。
不算特别严谨的翻译，但意思能到：
在国外时：1. 要去偏远的国家先跟大使馆打个招呼，注册一下
2. 小心人身财产安全

发帖数: 70028 | 44 2月28日，美国第88届奥斯卡奖开奖。反映2008年金融风暴的华尔街内幕喜剧片《大空头》，获得了“最佳改编剧本”奖。这部电影改编自纽约州畅销小说作家麦克尔· 刘易斯（Michael Lewis）的同名非虚构小说。小说原型中，有一名来自中国上海的数学天才徐尤金（音译，Enguene Xu）。
故事讲述的是2007-08年间，华尔街四名投资人预测美国房市即将崩盘，于是赌注信用违约掉期（Credit Default Swap，CDS）的金融产品。当市场真的像他们下的赌注那样溃泻时，他们就赚爆了。
而准确预测这个诡异的市场走向的人，就是德意志银行的“量化分析师”，俗称“宽客”（Quant）的徐尤金。
徐尤金毕业于上海复旦大学，曾获得过全国奥数二等奖。他1992年从加州大学洛杉矶分校博士毕业后，先后供职于摩根斯坦利、摩根大通银行等公司，2000年到2010年在德意志银行工作。

打个不算特别恰当但是比较好理解的比方，假设我们从中国乘飞机飞往美国－－飞
到关岛了，这的确是美国，但是离其本土还差十万八千里呢，好比《大宪章》刚刚
颁布，离真正的法治和民主的路还任重道远；等飞到夏威夷了，这也的确是美国，
可是上面除了毛利土著、日裔华裔、海军大兵和旅游者之外，要想看看典型的美国
人恐怕还是找错了地方，这好比Simon De Montfort和Edward I时期议会刚刚试运
转，机制开始建立，模子已经越来越成型了，但还不能算货真价实；只有飞过了落
山鸡，才是真正地到了美国，好比经过了光荣革命，英国以至近代的法治和民主才
真正地落到了实处；不过实际上加州到处西裔亚裔印度裔犹太裔人士成群，其美国
味道仍然欠一点火候，还得开一阵远路四处兜兜才成，好比光荣革命后的三百年人
类的继续探索和完善补充．回头看看离着十万八千里的关岛，虽然你尽可以嘲笑那
地方如何挂羊头卖狗肉，但那是大家都不得不走过的路，也是一个明白无误昭示方
向的路标，其意义不说自明．

这曾经是institutional
economics的主要话题之一，现在对于这方面的研究涉及到了organizational thoery,
contract law, bureaucracy and institutions等跨了经济，法律，政治学，社会学和哲
学等若干学科的问题。
经济学从如何减小social groups中各个成员合作的transaction cost（呵呵，这里可以
翻译成内耗吧）入手，分析合作的关系是non-specific的，mixed的或是idosyncratic的
以及合作的发生频率，是occasional的还是recurrent的，还有uncertainty来optimize这
个social groups（其实是social
insitution)内部的合作（包括分工）,减少transaction cost达到一种均衡。
法学则通过对于不同的contract的分析，试图选择最优化的契约来保证这个social
