周二股市持续削损，这表明是时候转而采取防御性的投资策略。
今天是连续第二日的主要指标持续放量大幅下跌，这带来股市一个接着一个的售出日。
随着标普指数的五个售出日和纳指的四个售出日，这很明显的是机构投资者在逃离股市
。
许多龙头股也很快受到胁迫。最近几周很少见的卖出信号越来越多的浮现出来。
这迅速恶化了市场的上升趋势，在本周之前我们很少见到这样的抛售以及有理由过多地
担心龙头股。显然在现在的市场压力下，个人投资者应该开始逃离股票。

周三是股市连续第二天在温和放量上涨，这使标普指数达到历史新高。
这一天纳指静静的上涨，涨幅为0.4%。现在它离52周新高就一步之遥。标普指数微涨0.
2%，稍微高于先纳指年初至今的7.5%的收益。
周三的上涨要归功于生物技术板块的强势，石油和天然气勘探股票继续保持上升趋势。
建筑、航空和汽车零售品牌股票也在上涨。
但芯片行业屈服于沉重的获利回吐，这包括半导体制造、IC设计和芯片设备板块都下跌
惨重，IBD的计算机网络、电信、光纤和计算机软件和安全板块也不例外。
这难怪从广义上讲纳斯达克市场乏善可陈，而且亏损股票略微超过上涨的股票。

trader来座谈。 确实是很开眼界。
专业的不谈，说说我的几个小感慨：
真是阳盛阴衰啊，特别是 NYSE，转了半天，虽然熙熙攘攘都是人，却没看到几个女的
。 citi好多了。
亚裔真是 over-represented-minority，特别是在citi，亚洲面孔太多了。相比之下，
african-american 几乎绝迹。
电脑屏幕太多了。 不知道 NYSE 那帮人一天看着6-8个屏幕会不会眼花。 citi的
trader多是3-6个屏幕，似乎好些。
其实， corporate & security laws 也是很有意思的领域，可惜人家一看我的 resume
就会说，你有phd呀，那一定是要做 patent law 了。鸽子洞令人无奈啊。 |

我个人认为HFT这几年一直都在down
我这里讲的是狭义的HFT，或者叫Ultra HFT。这个东西的这几年的发展大概
是这样的：先是00年左右的decimalization开始，这个时候离火还差的很远。
然后NASDAQ收购INET（岛） NYSE收购ARCA（群岛），这个时候开始火了，几乎
是指数级别的上升，到08年10月达到巅峰。那个时候是最好的时候，首先revenue
非常高，其次人少，大部分的shop都在40，50人左右或者以下，可想而知分起钱
来有多爽。
接下来的世道基本是螺旋式下降，除了flash crash之外，基本不见起色，到了今天
，nyse一天的成交量大概从巅峰的15b到6，7b，VIX也在20左右，每千股或者每百股
毛利大概是08年的一半，所以US equity market的油水基本上没有了。而且基本上最
好的trade已经进入硬件的时代了，infinity band， celoxcia都是标配。不少广告你
