素。Natural 的东西不一定是organic. Natural跟artificial相对，有很所加工过的食

我原来对我国的新闻报道，特别是有关科研成果的报道很不信任。我就经常接到一些著
名报刊编辑部的电话，自报家门后就先把我吹一通，几乎把我捧上天，然后就说根据中
央或某部的精神要宣传我们的科研成果，开始时我还当回事听完，后来我不等他或她说
完就问“要钱吗？不要钱可考虑，要钱一分没有，连考虑也不考虑。”马上他们往往就
先解释一通，这种时候我往往不等听完就挂断。还有一些记者的采访，开头我都提出写
好后让我看一遍，他们都满口答应，事后就没有了消息。甚至在网上还看到某报一篇报
道保护大熊猫的文章中引了“我的话”,我根本就不知此事，而且我是植物学工作者，
怎么能对大熊猫的保护说三道四。所以这次我与饶毅教授的辩论发生后，科学时报某记
者在我博客上留言说要采访我，而且明知我在澳大利亚也要电话采访。我知道，电话采
访后他们可按他们的思路和设计写文章，所以我就回E-mail说，由于我年老反应慢，有
问题可用E-mail发给我，让我慢慢回答（这样就可避免他们篡改我的意思自编故事），

有些童鞋已经报道说 limit不只1.已经有童鞋买到3还是没有达到limit.这里的limit

发帖数: 81 | 31 其实也不奇怪，这个版上多数人都在拿申faculty的那一套在申EB1a，尤其是DIY的。
以往还能歪打正着，这两年的风向越发体现出两者的本质不同。
Faculty更注重“成就”和“潜力”，EB1a更注重“贡献”和“现状”。
打个比方，如果这篇nature是今年刚发，又没有重要媒体报道又还没来得及积累一定的
引用的话，那么在IO那里还比不上一篇有50引用的PNAS，更比不上有成果和经济转化的
某个小专利。
申faculty的时候，你有一篇刚发表的nature是硬通货，因为人家招你就是建立在对你
未来的潜力预期上，但EB1a，IO看的是你已经变现了的贡献。你说你这篇nature未来会
有500引用？那就等你真的有了500引用以后再来申请吧。
所以我一直提醒现在DIY要谨慎，必要的时候还是该请律师。律师再差，起码方向是对
的，缺的是对细节的把控，但是你要是完全不咨询律师闭幕造车，悟性好的人可能会
get到正确的点，但悟性不好的人很可能会把吹的方向和重点都搞错了。 |

博物学主要指观鸟，识别昆虫，识别植物，看星星等等，简单地说就是玩转大自然。其
他我还能想到的包括地质(比如识别矿石)，气象（比如看云识天气），尤其在美国看大
型野生动物要比国内容易得多，这些东西都可以大家来分享，讨论。。
现在不知道大家对开个这样的版面是否感兴趣。我知道很多热爱这些方面的朋友们都分
散在几个版面，比如photoforum, travel, outdoors等等。如果一时开不了版面的话，

这个文章的情况很复杂，第一作者是我弟弟，他在香港大学读PHD的时候的PROJECT，
他老板是生物信息的不懂神经科学和分子生物， 我在北美拿到MASTER以后做RA，于是
就通过电话EMAIL指导他做了四年，其间我甚至帮他老板写RESEARCH PROPOSAL， 我弟
读完PHD，因为这个PROJECT的缘故，这个大牛还曾经是他香港老板的博后老板，有这层
关系，到了北美这个大牛LAB里，所以两个老板是共同通讯作者，我和我弟是共同第一
作者，这是神经病理学的东西，大牛和他香港老板都不是这个方向，我弟写作水平连
IETS都过不了，文章只能我来写，这个大牛顶多是给我改改语法，如果REVIEW回来，也
只能我来回应，指导他们做实验，我还有本职工作，要发一篇JBC，DEADLINE快到了，
我压力山大啊
