Why Mutai's record is . . . not a record

Kenya's Geoffrey Mutai ran the fastest 26.2 miles in history today,
finishing the 115th Boston Marathon in a time of 2 hours 3 minutes 2 seconds.
Yet it is not a world record. Why? The explanation is pretty logical,
actually, and it turns out "have the wind" at your back isn't the best
advice in such matters.

门后便放慢脚步，开始向场边的民众挥手、飞吻。此时，Anaya追上，但他没有借着
Mutai的失误直接冲线，而是从后推了推Mutai，提醒他继续向前，仍不知就里的Mutai
，在Anaya的指示下再次跑起来。两人几乎同时到达终点，但先跨过终点线的是Mutai。
「我根本不可能赢出，」Anaya事后接受访问时说：「我做了我该做的事。他才是名正
言顺的第一名。若他没有看错终点的位置，我根本追不上他。」
网民纷纷称赞Anaya展现了「真正的体育精神」，但Anaya的教练、1995年世界马拉松冠
军Martín Fiz，则觉得徒弟的决定难以理解。「Anaya的做法使他成了一个更好的人，

championship race, because there is no prize money and it's not as
prestigious as the olympics. None of the top American marathoners are in the
race. Ryan Hall is running Chicago. Ritz is recovering from a surgery. The
top Kenyans are not in the race either, such as the Mutais and Mosop. |

First of all, Mosop is only 80%, so I've heard. And he should be shooting for a very fast time, in order to beat
out the two Mutai's for the only remaining spot on Kenya's Olympic marathon team. I think DNF is the most
likely outcome. |

。明年的目标已确定为BQ，加之又赶上了这购物季节，开始找到理由向LD申请，认真考
虑进些装备：
1，鞋：考虑虎跑鞋或阿迪的Adizero Adios。这虎跑鞋在版上鼎鼎大名，我自然心
动。但Adios可是Haile Gebrselassie和Geoffrey Mutai等众多高手的选择啊。我看
World Marathon Majors的录像和照片，有一多半的Elite都穿Adidas。怪了，这里从没
人谈起过。
2，GPS：因为是第一次买，没有经验，但也没有负担（不用舍不得淘汰旧的，哈哈
），可选的余地大。计划一两年内以跑步为主，一番搜索之后，最终偏向于在Garmin的
210，305和910中选。但前不久又听说了MOTOACTIVE，据说功能很强，有通过耳机测心
律，不用系带子了。同时还包含了我正想要的Music Play，连MP3都省了。但仍顾虑电
池续航太短（Amazon的用户说是两个小时）和专业性不强。
