re-do the point. esp. at such sensitive time(u r mad and behind, hehe.)
I was called foot fault only in one match, and i gave the guy two bagals.
The guy looks too gay, and murmured to me, "oh, i do not like to pick the

lol, compared to runforever's relatively bad luck, i could only say i got
lucky in most spots and the only 2 hands i lost, i made simple mistakes.
1) hand 1, KK
loose table, one guy who won 5 hands in a row without much confrontation (
the guy sitting next to me murmurred, "can't be that good...")
i was UTG, made it $13 to go. $13 or 6.5BB in such low stake games is almost
meaningless (as ed miller says in recent cardplayer).
one donk lady called, the small "hot" guy (~$180) mini-raised to $24..

when i first started, i called $12 once with 8Ts at cutoff, button called
too as well as one MP.
flop was unforgretable: 679 rainbow.
EP bet $30 or so, MP called, i raised to $100 the ABC way, LP gave me this
weird look and murmured to me if he should call with two pair... he laid
down, EP called, MP called.
turn Q: EP shoved $300+ directly, MP called, i happily called.
river blank.
EP 99, MP QQ, i took a 1K+ pot and QQ got a tiny side pot.

lol, my common trick to switch roles, just to learn more objective views.
i do have KhJh, float him on flop, free turn card, river either K or J would
get me some value, Q or gutshot? golden.
actually i feel his flop donk bet is weak, we both have almost no info. on
each other. i even think about whether to pop him if he donks small on turn
again.
until river, i don't put him on a strong hand at all, and am speechless when
he folds. he only murmurs, "what else could he raise with?"

生river给gutshot broadway suck out了,不过也扯平,之前俺AsQs,在QJxxA,搞死
了他的KK。
几把key hands:
1) Q6s,flopped trash top 2, check raise big against donk doctor, he calls,
turn 4 with a backdoor flush draw, i shove $150 he snap calls, river
completes flush, damn, but he holds Q4.

掛完跟雙子女約會的電話,牡羊女搖搖頭:「也不過出差三天而已,樂得好像出差一個
月似的。」
「雖然無趣又愛管人了點,可是她的巨蟹老公很會賺錢呢,要是有這樣的人來愛我照顧
我,乖一點又何妨。」也很想當貴婦但偏偏愛上帥氣貧窮男的射手女艷羨地說,嘴巴說
說過過乾癮也好。
雙子女一看到我們就興奮招手:「今天一定要逛個過癮喔,老爺子不在,一寸光陰一寸

Please note I have NEVER said Gong Zhu has done some Zheng Rong. I don't
quite understand what you are murmuring about Gong Zhu.
As to how we judge Guo Jing Jing, I guess we are in the same positon in
terms of the knowledge about GJJ unless you personally know GJJ very well.
But What I'm different from you is I am not prone to have hasty and negative

我是个很少做梦的人,一向清醒而现实地活着。也许是美国鬼节的气场太过强大,昨晚
一直处于半梦半醒之间,见到一些久远年代的朋友和亲人。有时候我醒了,睁开眼睛,
仿佛他们都还在;等我终于相信这一切都是真实的时候,却又在无意识中昏昏睡去。就
这样,醒了又睡,反复若干次。凌晨的时候外面起了风,谁家的窗户忘了关,在那里咣
咣地抱怨。终于我完全醒了,索性开了窗,站到了阳台外,正是黎明前最为黑暗的时候
。我巡视四方,什么也看不到,也许,过完一年一度的鬼节的幽灵们该回家了。微冷,
我回到床上,裹了被子盘膝坐下,静静地守候黎明。

他们进入mainstream的好像是everybody hurts,有段时间MTV把这首歌的mv都放烂了,
但觉得这首歌不眨地,属于越听越烦那种。automatic for the people那张专辑里面最
好听的觉得是New Orleans Instrumental No. 1和nightswimming,很奇怪的音乐。那
张专辑好像乐评界给的整体评价是他们最高的吧。但我仍然觉得他们的第一张专辑
murmur是他们最好的一张专辑,很糙的糙米的感觉,有嚼头,Radio Free Europe一上
来就很劲道,整张专辑没有退烧,perfect circle,好歌呀。
rem后面几张专辑不太行了,人员有变动,stipe单飞事多,反正精气神没了。

你看的中文版是不是前面波哥说的86年中国文联出版公司的版本?我但愿有中文看,原
版里夹杂几句法文,虽然不多,但都是关键词,看不懂很郁闷,哈哈。小说里对梵高的
几次单相思更多一点同情。很喜欢海牙和巴黎众画家之间的争锋,思想碰撞摩擦,哈哈
。不过那些画家心理压力也都很大。

托这个版的服,几个月前买了kindle。用了一段时间之后,发现其好用程度超出预期。
我很满意。这与几年前刚用上iphone的感觉类似,觉得技术革新真是改变人类生活的
好东西。保护眼睛,不用常充电,小巧易携带,这些优点都逐渐体会到了。我一开始也
下载了不少中文书(www.shucang.com)和版权过期的经典外文书,小拼字游戏(amazon)
等等。弄了几十本以后,就觉得太值了。 但是, 拥有了书不等于就会去读---对我来说
,免费的陈列性新书不容易看进去;而以前看过的书,我感觉用kindle查找也不方便。
kindle翻页比较慢,这对我寻找需要的段落很不力: 我一般只是记得大致章节和内容
,用kindle没法快速翻阅到材料的位置。
我倒是一直有逛书店的习惯--或是连锁大店如B&N,或是小门面的专业及二手书店,这
些都是消磨个把小时的好地方。大店可以喝茶休息,翻翻新书;小店有不少寻觅偶遇的
乐趣。 另外,书店多半有点人世的嘈杂,时人当下的趣味。对我来说,它们是比令人
昏昏欲睡的图书馆更好的休闲去处。 有了kindle之后,去书店更有趣了。以前在新书

《纽约客》看了十来年。
每期到手,最先看的是最后面的影评专栏,两位写手Anthony Lane 和 David
Denby 轮流坐庄,总给人先睹为快的感受,至今记得其中某位曾说的话:“有
关电影的第一个真相就是:它们都是假的。”
我最期待的还是每期的短篇小说,大多数都读了,有时想想这么日积月累下来,
一年有四、五十篇,十年有几百篇,是不是应该很有成就感呢?他们这个短篇
小说栏目,跟杂志一样,有着无可比拟的“世界性”,风格、题材、文字,无
一不显如此本色。这些年不仅屡见华人作家的作品,也时时有从以色列、波兰、
德国、土耳其等国翻译过来的文字。窥斑思豹,虽有偏颇,却也算聊胜于无了。
看久了,还喜欢上他们的财经专页,不是每期都有,但是作者 James Surowiecki
的视角总是独特,却又深入浅出,将经济、金融、商业的大话题信手拈来,叫
人眼界顿开。另有一位女作者,专门写购物指南样的专栏,告诉你买什么、怎
么买,甚至列出价格之类,也颇有意思。
《纽约客》每期也有两到三首诗歌作品,长短咸宜,是我在地铁停靠站之间的
阅读选择,一两分钟,掠眼而过,惊艳或者迷惑,懂或不懂,倒不那么重要了。

这个电影是出国之前我的法语老师推荐给我的,我一直错以为是法国电影,直到昨天才
发现是英国剧作家Terry Williams和Tom Stoppard(除了《Arcadia》等诸多名剧,
《Shakespeare in Love》也是他和人合写的)编剧、Terry Williams导演的英国科幻
电影——那就容易解释贯穿影片的那种玩世不恭味了。
我出国后很快从学校图书馆借来它的录像带——1985年的电影没有DVD。看完楞是没懂
,但有几个惊悚的镜头从此一直留在后脑勺的某个角落里。男主角是个敏感痛苦于庞大
的机器时代、官僚时代的底层小官员。
小官员的人生唯一亮色是一位梦中情人,他每天梦见自己插翅救出被困的少女,携手飞
翔云上。
在调查一起因为一只小虫落在打字机键上而引发的错文错案中,他遇到了梦中情人。
为了拯救情人、实现梦想,他动用他那善于拉皮的母亲与政府高层的关系。
事败而被捕,小人物在一只巨大的圆筒室里受讯。
反政府的恐怖组织人员前来营救,却被无数翻飞起来的政府文件席卷吞没。
