The first email does not look like something a decent
school will send out. The OP should go back and read
that email again, and check the source (full header,
etc.)
There are cases when admission letters were sent out
by mistake. In one reported case, the school apologized
and told them it was a mistake. In another (unreported),
the school admitted all students who were sent the
letter (they were on the lower priority waiting list).

应该是那个网站的责任啦，sale of goods governed by uniform commercial code,
contract law里面的unilateral mistake问题，只要是Buyer did not or reasonable
or should not aware of the mistake,seller自己承担错误导致的后果。buyer can
argue比如laptop卖多少钱是比较professional的事情，里面有很多东西外行人是不知
道合理价格的，所以没有证据可以证明buyer是恶意take advantage of seller's
mistake,不过你们这个case,buyer买了5台，这个这个，人家公司会反驳的。你接着要
argue你是善意买了5台，自己想理由去吧。
除非来个class action,几百几千个人一起起诉，要不然一般不会有atty愿意take这个
case的。
先BBB吧，看结果怎么样，完全不赔偿直接cancel这是不对的，至少得来个优惠券安慰

比较低。比方说加东西之前不多想一下，有时候不小心她就加错了。
我一旦发现就会啰嗦上小半天（汗， 我的确有micromanagement 倾向，有时候怎么都忍不住，看来这个习惯得努力去改）
其实她在老美傻瓜小本里面，算是非常好的了，也很勤奋好学，就是很多技术上
的习惯还没有养好。比方说有时候我看到她拿pipet 的样子就忍不住跑过去纠正一下。。。
对于方向性的mistake 那个是scientific risk，我对此忍耐性到是比较高。

周六参见Houston聚会，感慨万分，悲喜交加：喜的是很多speaker都毕业10多年了，今
年终于成功match, 深深为他们锲而不舍的精神所感动。悲的是，轮到自己了，该怎么
办？很鸭梨山大。
由于我晚到了几分钟，第一位speaker ， Pathology（oldray?）没太来得及记录。
1） talk to others
2） Do not be aggressive
3） Ask, not just assume
4） Follow the rules, like HAPPA
5） Watch more slides ( for study purpose)
6） Group study
7） 别吊儿郎当（忘了这是原话还是我自己的理解。Oldray is 北京人？）

company, i wouldn't be surprised. people always make mistakes, more or less.
And one more question: does higher premium necessarily lead to higher profit
? I don't really think so, as long as there is no monopoly in insurance
market. i don't think they make such mistakes on purpose. |
