He's one of the best to create goals and shooting opportunities.
However, his midfield techniques are terrible and he is NOT
trained to run tactics.
Messi simply does not possess midfield techniques such as

So no problem at all playing offense sometimes, pace is the key to offence
midfielder in pickup level, you don't need to be fast, just need to possess
the ball enough time for your teammates to be in place. If you never played
midfielder, it might be hard to understand how to have pace. |
