是在以牛掰的 logic/symbolic 的姿势总结，还是以傻叉的 intuition
的节奏死背。
其实 mathematics structure + mathematics logic，就是题型。
牛掰的地方是在于 logic/symbolic 的姿势。而死背题型就是那个啥。
俺昨晚想了想，具体到小学线性代数题，其实那根本不是一个特别的
类型，只是 mathematics structure + mathematics logic
的一个具体的 implementation。具体来说，题型大法是这么搞的：
1）根据 word problem 来 construct logic graph
2）把 logic graph 转换成 algebraic expressions
3）该 algebraic expression 就是一个 LR syntax tree
4）用各种 property 去 simplify 那个 LR syntax tree

一，CC 的推手们向各州推动 CC的过程不公开不透明，各州是被 stimulus money 和
No Child Left Behind 的 waiver 所贿赂上船的。CC自我推销的语言多是空话，甚至

CC说是 state led. 事实：它从来不是。
二，CC 从来没有在任何一个学校试验过。他们自己称有大量研究支持这个标准，但却
拿不出一个研究的 citation。我在 CC的官网没找到，如果那位找到了，请分享！
既然没有任何试点，没人知道 CC 是否真的能改进中小学教育。反正 Bill Gates 的孩
子们上的是学费超过 $20,000的私校（也是他的母校），一般公立学校的孩子作荷兰猪

一样。。。或者说，基本不会一样。
我觉得不是所有人的，都把数学看成完全铁板钉钉的逻辑。。。打个比方，也许
有人觉得 jigsaw puzzle 是非常 logical/analytical。。。但是我觉得
jigsaw puzzle 的第一步，“selection/pruning by guess”，我觉得其实是
非常 intuitive 的。。。或者另一个角度说，你很难用逻辑来说明为啥你先
try this piece first，not that piece，很多时候你仅仅就是 feel this
simply is the right choice from your guts。。。逻辑则是那一步以后的事
。。。
我觉得娃版 foundation of mathematics 的概念啥的，也是非常 intuitive
的。。。只不过大妈们不这么看而已。。。就比如为啥俺在娃面前写了那个错误的

algebra 是 Formal + Spatial。-- mathematical-logics + mathematical-structure
至于 pre-algebra 阶段出现的大量 verbal logics，个人觉得是 natural-language-
based，mathematical logic in language art fashion + mathematical structure
in language art fashion。其实自然语言也是有画面感的，画面感就是 spatial /
structure。自然语言也是有数学逻辑结构也能 problem solving 的，比如：“山顶动人
俩俩相约去打一只野猪，如果打不下来就打一只野兔交差。” 等等等等。。。只是这
玩意儿最终能在数学上走多远，不好说。 |

他的儿子正在申请来美国的大学读本科。已经有几个OFFER 了，但是因为不太理解几个
英语单词的含义，所以不知道那几个OFFER是不是他们真正想要学的专业。
他的儿子想学精算专业（actuarial science）。但是可能比较难直接进入精算专业 （
actuarial science），所以他想先进入数学系 （mathematics），然后转入精算专业。
他们的理解是：在美国，、"actuarial science" 与"mathematics"同属数学系。
他们的问题：
1、"major preference: mathematics"指的是数学系还是数学专业？
2、"specialization of actuarial science" 与"BS in actuarial science" 的区别？
3、"actuarial science" 与"mathematics"同属数学系，怎样才能从数学专业转到精算
专业？能否可以转？ |

侧重点不一样，本质上都在讲同一个东西
combinatorial math and discrete math主要讲一些结构上的性质
combinatorial opt 主要讲具有组合性质的一些问题
discrete opt and integer opt是相对于continuous opt来讲的
归结到具体问题跟组合优化没啥区别

Chemistry, Hematology 一年就可以，要修21-25个学分，学费一般15，000(本州），
相当于证书班。证书班没有任何奖学金可以申请。
15,000 只是那其中一个证书，不是全部6种证书。
medical laboratory scientist 必须在美国，加拿大读的5年制本科这个专业并且那的
学士学位的，才可以考试。其余的连考试资格也没有，你可以看ASCP网页详细要求。
找工作的前景，证书班出来的比在美国，加拿大读的5年制本科拿到MLS证书的，差多了
。比如你有Hematology证书，人家医院检验科招聘要的是MLS证书。你可以看一下
