标 题: 花费15，000拿一种证书是否值得？

cytotechnologist, histotechnologist, blood banking, micorbiologist，clinical
Chemistry, Hematology 一年就可以，要修21-25个学分，学费一般15，000(本州），
相当于证书班。证书班没有任何奖学金可以申请。
15,000 只是那其中一个证书，不是全部6种证书。
medical laboratory scientist 必须在美国，加拿大读的5年制本科这个专业并且那的
学士学位的，才可以考试。其余的连考试资格也没有，你可以看ASCP网页详细要求。
找工作的前景，证书班出来的比在美国，加拿大读的5年制本科拿到MLS证书的，差多了
。比如你有Hematology证书，人家医院检验科招聘要的是MLS证书。你可以看一下
Indeed网的招聘要求。
攻读任何学位的，证书版要有ASCP认证,无认证的不要理睬。

Medical Laboratory Scientist, MLS(ASCP)
Application Fee: $225
To be eligible for this examination category, an applicant must satisfy the
requirements of at least one of the following routes:
Route 1: A baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college/
university including courses in biological science, chemistry and
mathematics, AND successful completion of a NAACLS accredited Medical
Laboratory Scientist program within the last 5 years; OR
Route 2: MLT(ASCP) certification, AND a baccalaureate degree from a
regionally accredited college/university, including 16 semester hours (24
quarter hours) of biological science (with one semester in microbiology), 16
semester hours (24 quarter hours) of chemistry (with one semester in
organic or biochemistry), one semester (one quarter) of mathematics, AND two
years of full time acceptable clinical laboratory experience in Blood
Banking, Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Immunology, and Urinalysis/
Body Fluids in the U.S., Canada or an accredited laboratory* within the last
ten years; OR
Route 3: CLA(ASCP)** certification, AND a baccalaureate degree from a
regionally accredited college/university, including 16 semester hours (24
quarter hours) of biological science (with one semester in microbiology), 16
semester hours (24 quarter hours) of chemistry (with one semester in
organic or biochemistry), one semester (one quarter) of mathematics, AND
four years of full time acceptable clinical laboratory experience in Blood
Banking, Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Immunology, and Urinalysis/
Body Fluids in the U.S., Canada or an accredited laboratory* within the last
ten years; OR
Route 4: A baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college/
university, including 16 semester hours (24 quarter hours) of biological
science (with one semester in microbiology), 16 semester hours (24 quarter
hours) of chemistry (with one semester in organic or biochemistry), one
semester (one quarter) of mathematics, AND five years of full time
acceptable clinical laboratory experience in Blood Banking, Chemistry,
Hematology, Microbiology, Immunology, and Urinalysis/Body Fluids in the U.S.
, Canada or an accredited laboratory* within the last ten years.
*Laboratory accredited by AABB, CAP, COLA, DNV, The Joint Commission, JCI or
under ISO 15189.
**CLA(ASCP) certification was discontinued in 1982. Only applicants
previously certified as CLA(ASCP) may apply under Route 3.

多谢你的回复。我还没最终决定呢，想来想去觉得CS 还是不适合我，虽然一谈起转行
似乎都是CS啊什么的。我觉得 medical laboratory science 还是不错的，虽然收入少
了些，但是工作轻松，可以照顾家庭，对于我们有博士学位的来说，一旦进入了这个行
业，上升空间比那些只有本科文凭的要大一些。有很多大的医院医学中心有那种一年的
项目比如 medical laboratory scientist, cytotechnologist, histotechnologist
etc. 生物或者化学本科的都可以申请，当然了有些先修课的要求，它默认你已经学过
了这些理论，一年时间直接将你送入临床轮转。我觉得是个不错的选择。

升空间
