回答修改了。
而minor的话，一般就是修回以后，编辑看看就可以接受了， 不需要送回再审的。 |

发信询问究竟为什么据。如果AE说是因为有REVIEWER决定REJECTION(虽然评语不错)，
那我也认了。
问题是AE回信说是因为他觉得两个月内不可能改完(一般MAJOR REVISION是要求在两个
月内改完)，所以就把我据了。可是事实上里面要改的地方并不多(比我其他命中的文章
要改得少多了)，撑死一个月就可以按照REVIEWER的意见改好。这就完全是AE有意刁难
人了。 |

或者他不太喜欢文章的内容，比如新意不够，或者观点和他相左，
都有可能拒掉你的文章。
有的杂志的编辑权力很大，直接决定你的文章是否送审，
很多时候跟你的文章好坏没啥关系，只是他个人喜好和标准。
杂志这么多，换家投就是了，当攒人品了。。。 |

revision的认定也不同，有的认为就是给你过了，有的只是不想直接据你（等到第二轮

revision，最后才能acceptance.这样每篇文章从投稿到最终接收，前后都要一年左右
，最短的也要8个月，有的一年多。如果能够第一轮就是minor revision，那样从投稿
到接收的周期就短多了。不知道有没有人能够分享经验如何能够做到这一点？我是工程
的，投的都是IEEE Trans.期刊 |

永远拿不到了。有一次投一个letter, reviewer (估计是学生）对文章实在提不出毛病
，就在骨头里面挑刺，非说试验不充分。明明是一个letter,根本没篇幅做大量的试验
，还非要这样说。搞得还是被编辑给了major revision |

最近我审的一篇文章，是已经修改过的，然后编辑让我审。我一看，我是第五个审稿人。
我看了那篇稿子里面有很严重的错误，而且通过作者对一审的回复可以看出，别的审稿
人在一审中已经对这个错误有了质疑。但是在我看来作者的回复是完全不令人满意的。
估计那几个审稿人意见不一致，于是编辑又找到了几个审稿人。
我毫不犹豫的建议reject。 这个作者是不是也会觉得愤愤不平啊？ |

1. probably no company will want to hire you as a programmer. They care
about your background a lot. Google rejected me because my undergrad major
wasn't CS.
2. sometimes it doesn't matter if you are CS background or not, as long as
your programming is good enough to pass the technical interview. But from
my experience it's very hard, because each time I failed tech interview
just because of my poor programming knowledge. |
