were just stbading there. this is not good to the fans.
I was stuck in the Detroit airport. in a sports bar, after i ordered some
food, i realized they had the NHL all stars on, instead of the NFL probowl.
people came in and asked to change the channel, but the waiter refused. he
said some customers requested to watch the NHL.
I understand this is Detroit, but the way probowl was played, didn't do NFL
any favor.

usually the center, will utter the final adjustment call for blocking (
depending on where the MIKE lines up). If it's 5 vs. 4, maybe a simple sign
conveys which rusher gets double-teamed, and the rest 3 pairs go one-on-one
.
Or, on the contratry, they can entirely go with zone-blocking.
Either way, the MIKE has to be accounted for by the OL. |

4 straight 2nd-half collapses, 3 straight non-playoff performance, and outside
of 2007, when the team happened to catch lightning in a bottle, he's 0-3 in
playoffs. More than enough as firing cause.
This is a transitional year, with three new O-linemen, but with the high
price the team is charging for tickets, this performance is not acceptable.
His team lost to Washington, Eagles, and Seahawks, who, outside of their

因为箭头所指那个TE, 与另外一侧的TE相比, 显然没有排在开球线上.

Both flanks of the offensive line need to be covered by an eligible TE or WR
, with proper jersey numbers.
In fact, for a 7-men LOS, which is 99.9% of all formations, the ref simply
identifies the two eligible receivers at the end, then the 5 LOS guys
sandwiched between them (again, with proper jersey numbers) are recognized
as offensive linemen and treated as such -- no movement allowed, can't catch

开球后linebacker或者defensive backs(非Defensive linemen)冲过LOS rush对方两毛
五。而且防守方rush两毛五的人数应该大于保护两毛五的人数。linebacker的blitz比
Defensive back更常见，后者比较冒险所以用的少。 |

昨天有两场FOA比赛。第一场是Mighty Mite级别的，第二场是Jr. Pee Wee级别的。我
担任headlinemen，负责客队的管理。
事情发生在第二场比赛。在头两个period时，客队已经三次touchdown了，主队仍然
nothing，明显客队比主队强很多。客队教练是个很挑剔的人，总是向我抱怨主队snap

TE can line up at the line of scrimmage with the linemen, or behind the
scrimmage as a WR. Maybe in the latter case, the FB can move horizontally
away off the QB to a position a TE could be.
FB is to protect the QB or lead for the RB, so they stay close to the middle
. Even if you want the FB to receive a pass like a TE, the FB won't line up
on a TE position. He will still stay close to the QB, make sure there is no

好几个defensive play，中间的MLB spikes从中间rush center或者guard，都不一定是
为了直接sack QB，而是压缩pocket，让QB没法step up pocket，QB多那半秒，结果可
能就不一样。所以inside lineman在pass protection真的也相当关键，除了不要被直
接绕过以外，还要尽量守住脚下，不能被push的太厉害，这对身材矮小的QB比如Drew
Brees什么的，特别重要，所以Saints一般舍得花大钱在inside linemen上面，QB被
Outside pass rush以后，还能step up pocket传出致命一击。 |

There are certainly cues to ignore/reverse certain previous calls,
especially for linemen and backs who are closer by.
This is nothing complicated for the pros at all. Very basic and utterly
necessary.
I used the Chinese crusine names only because that's the popular culture.
