In your Agassi logic, this would mean the Connors era (Connors/
McEnroe) is much stronger than the Edberg era (Lendl/Edberg/Becker).
Doesn't seem so.
Some people just get old slower. |

K****D 发帖数: 30533 | 6 Lendl has higher historical status than Connors -- more GSs,
more dominant among other top players.
Connors was not a god of that era, he had similar achievements
as McEnroe, and both of them were not as good as Borg.
My major point was that it is meaningless to look at the H2H
record of players that are from different age groups and then
draw conclusions. (Is Edberg much worse than Connors?) Some
people peak early, some late. It's different. |

K****D 发帖数: 30533 | 7 Borg's career winning ratio is 82.7%, the best in open era.
The only one that might have a shot at this ratio is Laver, who
is 79.5% (note this was after he was 30).
Connors and Lendl are both 81.8%, slightly behind Borg. However,
coming to GS performance, Borg's winning ratio is a stunning 89.8%,
heads and shoulders above anyone else. (Even Federer is only 87.3%.)
Granted Borg retired at age 25, his statistics also included his
early ages between 17-19. So even if he didn't retire, his numbers

How did Novak Djokovic conquer the tennis world?
Maybe the answer is as simple as this: Since last year, he's swearing off
pasta, pizza, beer, French bread, Corn Flakes, pretzels, empanadas,
Mallomars and Twizzlers—anything with gluten.
It's no secret that Djokovic has had a breakout season, or that he has been,
by any reasonable standard, the world's best athlete of 2011. On Sunday, he
beat Rafael Nadal in the Rome Masters, his fourth-straight win over the
Spaniard. It was his s...

只是 in between points 要不停调线而已。
