到exch. 6, check in, 吃饭， 排队上厕所。 整个exch.6是热闹异常，相比之下，早
上的出发点就冷清多了。
已经连续兴奋了几个小时，从州长那里接过接力带那就更鸡血了。兴奋之下，就想超人
， pace达到5’55左右。 这个Leg 9大概是5k多点，很平，一开始就是一个长缓下坡。
想慢点也慢不下来。 可是前面的几个team拉的都比较开，追到1迈多才有我的第一个
road kill. 一开始跑太快的错误也开始让我还债。 就觉得呼吸跟不上，腿上有力没
处使的感觉， 可能和Utah的海拔也有点关系吧， pace一路下跌。 虽然又超了几个，
最后的半迈基本就是死撑了。 紧盯着前面一个白背心男， 可是直到交棒给pager也没
有追上，甚憾。 Leg 9 avg. pace 6’39. 教训就是开始冲太快， 我的老毛病了。
一句话总结就是， 没有跑爽。
第二次轮到我，是Leg 21， 出发时间大约是2:40am左右。开始在exch. 18等的时候就

欢喜同学要求我做到图文并茂，文是灌水文作不了数，图就尽量东找找西找找了。为了
凑字数，我就多扯点题外话。
先上Course的地图：
周四的早上我们在Logan的USU田径场目送欢喜同学绝尘而去后，Van的兄弟妹摆拍完毕
，就直奔Exchange 6。Wasatch Back Relay要求是分Van1和Van2，当Van1在跑的时候，
Van2是inactive的。为了避免交通拥堵，通常inactive Van被要求走不同的路线。于是
我们再次经过Mantua翻山越岭回到I-15上，然后从南边的Oden Canyon到达Morgan。中
间一个小插曲就是被GPS和官方地图玩弄了，作为当时的领航员，我要负全责。直接后
果是害的大家赶时间，第一顿午饭就吃得很狼狈。
长话短说，过Oden Canyon的时候，车是沿着弯弯曲曲小河，不停左拐右拐。两旁是高
峰峭壁，乱石耸立。州长的开车技术真不是盖的，开着Full Size的SUV在这种路上还不
停的评价一下风景。这段是没有来得及照相，找一张老照片来充数一下。

Syndrome,(RLS) which reminds of my legs. They have been getting worse since
I started to play badminton.

weight should be placed on the down-hill (outside) leg, for example when
making right turn, weight should be put on right leg... until I watched this
video:
