buy REIT, is relatively much easier on the other hand. And since it's a
portfolio, much diversified, lower risk, of course, lower return if

mutual fund。For example,去年TIAA Real Estate的Annual return 也有13%。看tiaa
的那个投资组合说：“The TIAA Real Estate Account seeks favorable long-term
returns primarily through rental income and appreciation of real estate

看都是划算的。只不过是最近一段时间少赚些而已。

500 principle, $500是mortage interest)。有人告诉我说只有那$200 cash flow 那
部分 ($1200-$1000)算是income，需要交税.用turbo tax只有 $500 mortgage
interest 不用交税， mortgage中的principle也算income，所以$1200-500=$700 要交
税。

所以想买一套房子出租。
现在的情况是，好些个有投资潜力的小区已经不允许作为investor买了
只允许primary resident, second home, 或者给父母或者成年儿女买的以自居为目的
的买家。
我的情况是去年初刚买了二手房，房子较老，但是学区好，我是不愿意搬到这些新小区
来住的。而且房子离这些小区都不到50 miles，似乎也不符合second home/vacation
home的条件。儿女还小，父母没有绿卡，也不愿意到美国长待。
有人建议可以先按primary resident先买房子，然后出租即可。但是我担心是不是会
mortgage fraud，会不会带来很严重的后果。如果我买完后通知lendar，改变用途，愿
意接受稍高的investment rate，是不是可行？
