这本书出来时候因为觉得是中国人教育出天才孩子之类的噱头，就特意绕着走。最近是
看网上大家都在说怎么教育小朋友成才，我现在也有女儿了，所以就想看看有什么可以
借鉴的。看了之后感慨良多。
也许Amy Chua作为移民第二代，有点太过美化中国父母的棍棒(至少是负面为主的）教
育。这种方法对于比较皮实不太计较的孩子（看看Amy自己都承认自己不太具有同情心
）也许还是有点用的。而对心灵脆弱敏感的孩子，那种心理摧残实在是太大了。敏感的
孩子如果在父母那里得不到安慰，又没有朋友可以理解帮助他／她，心理很容易走极端
，甚至以后脱离了父母的管制，影响也会伴随终生。
如果我们承认Amy个人还是小有成就的话，那么其实这些成就很大程度来自于她的从小

这也是我非常喜欢的一首合唱歌曲.布里顿的作品.也是很长，大概11分钟?
一共有三段, ABA的结构.既有传统合唱的美丽和声，也有现代音乐的奇异效果.综合起
来让人无比迷恋.
这个作品强弱非常大.一开始非常弱,中间暴强.大家注意调节音量哈~~~~~
4个领唱分别代表了人性的4个方面，我不记得了

几个月前在新闻评论中听到这本书的时候，买了一本来读。网上就这本书和“虎妈”的
育女理念的讨论真的是够多的了。所以不管你是否同意虎妈的教养模式，你都从这些思
考和争论中受益。
我现在还没有成型的教养孩子的模式。不过我是从一个非典型的“放羊型”的家庭中成
大的，我也无比捍卫自己的选择权，我成为虎妈的可能性为零。
虽然如此，我还是对这本书中的几点相当地欣赏。
1）虎妈的妈妈对虎妈的成长有着相当影响力。虎妈的妹妹生有唐氏综合症，虎妈的妈
妈在她身上倾注了很多的照顾和同其他女儿一样的人生期望。虎妈的妈妈在家庭和事业
的平衡方面无疑是虎妈的模仿对象。在这本书中，虽然对虎妈的妈妈着墨不多，但时时
都能感受到她的影响。虎妈妹妹在追求学术成就和与病魔搏斗上的精神也是“遗传”自
此。我觉得我会很认同虎奶奶的行为模式，如果有一天虎奶奶也出书的话：）引用虎奶

hymns更应该和A不属一个作者.因为大家都是"attribution",而hymns和A更不同. 所以
选项A有一个错误的前提, 就是hymns确实是H的作品. 看, 他们和A更不同, 都是一个作
者的, 没有理由认为H写不出来B啊.
但是这前提是有问题的, 因为他并不是确实知道H写了那些hymn, 而只是有观点把hymn
归于H. |

不久前刚买了个福特escape 2014，因为看各大网站上评价都非常高，价钱也便宜。后
来就到处打电话问价，问到一家最低的，就去了。因为白天上班，只有下了班那一会儿
去，又急着回家；心想新车也就大概看看就成了（现在想想真后悔没多试几次）。先试
了一个车，然后再去选了颜色，看好一个颜色后使劲砍价（已经不是原来试过的那一辆
了），砍到后来dealer不干，我们就回家了。第二天打电话来说，这个价可以。于是晚
上又去。因为还是急着回家，所以又是稍稍试驾了一下，一通谈判误会再谈判，当晚就
把车开回去了。
于是噩梦来了。开回去的当天就觉得，这车减震好像有点问题，开回到家里觉得浑身颠
得难受，心想也许是错觉。好几次之后发现，好像真是颠得有点厉害，感觉还不如我的
破烤肉平稳（我觉得SUV应该是比小车的减震要好的吧，不知道是不是）。我之前也试

能不合格一边在心里想：这是让我当南郭女士呢。我还强调了一下，我嗓门细，高音唱
不上去。结果她笑着说，其实我们最怕有些能唱上去的人:)。
后来就参加了合唱团，光荣地从女高音一部被调到了二部。合唱团很有意思，从十
六岁到八十多岁一共快一百号人。别看好多老年人，越是年老的越是忠诚。有个老太太
几次从台上栽倒，怎么劝都不肯退。年青人的面孔就总在变。
我最担心的滥充的问题，大多时候还好，大不了唱到最后只有气没有声了。反正是
合唱团，你站在那别在别人都张大嘴的时候把嘴闭上就好。这样就跟着合唱团到不同的
学校和剧院演出去了。印象中最难唱的一首歌，是跟春天有点关系的，叫Easter Hymn
from Cavalleria Rusticana（歌剧《乡村骑士》里的复活节赞美诗）。那个意大利语
本来就很饶口，歌词很是翻来复去好多遍才有点样。曲子很美，合唱起来很有气势的。
可问题是高音实在太高了，唱不上去啊。怎么办呢，后来我想了个折衷的办法，每次快

马礼逊是西方派到中国大陆的第一位基督新教传教士，他在华25年，在许多方面都有首
创之功。他在中国境内首次把《圣经》全译为中文并予以出版，使基督教经典得以完整

当时，马礼逊面临着两大困难：其一，清廷禁教令不准传教士进入内地；其二，华人不
得信教，且不能教洋人习中文，违者处以极刑。除了来自清政府的限制，马礼逊在广州
还受到东印度公司的敌视，他不敢暴露英国人的身份，只能冒充美国人，并在美国领事

「人非有信，就不能得神的喜悅；因為到神面前來的人，必須信有神，且信祂賞賜那尋
求祂的人。」－希伯來書11:6
每一個危及存亡之秋，都是神得著機會施行祂拯救的時刻。人的盡頭，往往才是神的起
頭。
記得神在曠野中，給一對老朽夫婦的偉大應許嗎？神向他們應許，他們的後裔要如同天
上的星，海邊的沙。
記得神如何帶領以色列人經過紅海嗎？記得他們扛著約櫃，踏入約旦河水，卻如同行過
乾地的故事嗎？
危難總勝過絕望。
信心不會使我們危難的時期縮減，但信心能使我們在其中穩固，不致搖動。在困境中，
我們只有兩個選擇：孤注一擲的信心，或一蹶不振的絕望。
危難中仍能靠著信心而穩固的例子中，莫過如火焰中三個希伯來人的故事了。
情勢是十萬火急，千鈞一髮，他們卻還能堅定的回答：「即便如此，我們所事奉的神，
也能將我們從烈火的窯中救出來；王阿，祂必救我們脫離你的手。即或不然，王阿，你
當知道，我們決不事奉你的神，也不敬拜你所立的金像。」（但以理書3:17-18）這是
多麼令人讚賞的「即或不然」啊！
我還想再提一點客西馬尼中主的禱告。耶穌那時所說的「然而」是多麼的別具深意啊！
