CA has different (maybe more restricted?) gun law from IL, e.g., an AR-15 with a 30 round magazine is illegal in CA but legal in IL. A handgun cannot have a magazine with more than 10 rounds in CA. Check CA gun law first if you will move to CA.

1911. That does not matter.
I did shoot 1911 but never think it is a must.
Besides, if you are a starter, it is not a good idea to choose a gun with
very light trigger, especially for a handgun.

training and higher techniques.
Basically, "CCW only small handgun"= Cheap Shit. It hurts when you don't

special form (multiple transaction form). But for long guns, there is no
such restrictions, you can buy 100 long guns at a time and only need to fill

Missouri:
Licenses are required to aquire a handgun, and such licenses are not issued
to non-citizens, so Missouri residents who didn't already own handguns
before they moved there are out of luck.
Concealed carry permits are not issued to non-citizens. However, Missouri
honors all out-of-state permits, so non-citizens can just get such a permit.
