1. 随身CC，或者随车携带。这种firearm注重轻便，能够fast draw，近距离准确度高
（一般的conflict都是在1到3米内发生），穿透力低（你肯定不想你的子弹穿透对方的
身体后继续保持杀伤力，尤其是在公共场合），所以宜选择LCP这类的packet或者至少
是subcompact handgun。这类firearm还要考虑保险性。
2. 白天家防，这是指白天自己在清醒状态下的家中防卫。俺知道很多枪友在家中也是
枪不离身的，但是大多数人在家中不会这么做，这就要求白天家防的firearm必须易于
在家中随处隐藏，在需要时可以随手随地迅速取出（看过英雄本色一里的小马哥吗，呵
呵），有一定的载弹量，不需要外保险（因为一旦需要快速接触这支枪就一定是高危状
态）。这类firearm也应该是handgun，根据自己情况选择full size或compact。强烈推
荐Walther PPQ，当然这一点俺是灰常灰常biased。呵呵。如果家中有小孩，一定要多

NYC Metro枪证分两种，一个是Rifle一个是handgun，rifle容易申请，handgun必须结
果测试和NYPD面试。另外，NYC不能随身带枪，有特定目的例如去SHOOTING RANGE，要

一般一把手枪在500刀左右，好点的800-900刀，加各种Accessories，1000刀应该可以了。买枪前最好去受训一下，看看什么枪合适自己，学习持枪安全知识，然后练习。
先上一个Basic Handgun的课，一般75-100刀左右，Insight/West Coast Armory和Wades Gunshop都有Offer。
然后练习。我喜欢有Coach指导一下。问了一下Insight, 冬天没有Women's Shooting League,不过有不分性别的Co-Ed Shooting League I.一般要去个８次，每次１５刀。这个不贵，自己租一个枪道也要１０刀。加上子弹，租枪等，大概每次费用会在３０－４０刀左右。

点犹豫。一个亚裔移民家庭，两个大人，两个孩子，不知什么原因都遭枪击，两死两伤
。初步调查结果认定是男主人枪杀妻子和孩子后自杀，妻子当场死亡，两个孩子幸存，
被直升飞机送去就医。

But the concealed handgun is a pretty big deal. As long as you are 18
without a criminal record, you can carry a handgun in glove compartment or
in center console.
That's why I said "So, be very careful whom you bump into while texting on
freeway..."

Almost all sporting goods shops sell HANDGUN! This really surprised me when
I moved here.
Also you can buy guns including handguns using classified ads on newspaper.
No ID required. I really dare not try this because you don't know the
history of the gun.
To be honest, I think it's a little too pro-gun. |

safety certificate too. as far as i know, with the above two, all u need is
to pass the background check to get a gun. of course, i never tried to get
one while i was a student. r u sure u really need a gun? what if u would
have to leave the country?
fyi, a hunting license is not like a fishing license u can get anytime as
long as u pay the fee... |

发帖数: 753 | 49 首先需要FID (Federal Firearms Purchaser Identification Card),一般由local
police dept. 办理，如果town太小没有PD,就要找state trooper.
办的时候填一堆表格，授权警察run background check, mental health check, etc.
交钱，按指纹，过2-3个月一般就好了，也有倒霉的要6个月的。FID到手后最好去
Staples laminate一下，以免损坏。以后如果搬家还要重新办。
就我的理解，有了FID就可以买长枪，好像不用什么培训。至少我是只申请了FID和
handgun permit，没有提供任何上课的证据，就买了handgun的。
