首先回答你做X-ray or CT scan的问题， 这是不包含在我们讨论的100 mREM里的，全
部引文是：

东部的Alex一起背包露营时的聊天。
Day 1 Gallatin National Forest
蒙大拿比较有名的是西北角的冰川公园（Glacier NP)。不过，我们这次去的是东南边
的Gallatin National Forest。无他，因为那里不单有冰川，森林，也有蒙大拿的最高
峰：号称本土48州最难走的Granite Peak。而且，那里离黄石公园很近。
在trail开始的附近，有一座废弃的小屋。
过后，在树林里走几个小时后，会看到一两个很安静的湖。湖面挺大的。如果能有一条
充气艇，那么放下背包，沿着湖边划，应该很爽的。
过了湖不久，是一个长满野花的山谷。
走进山谷，小溪和野花随处可见。当时就想，回来的时候最好能在这露营。
在山谷午餐后，继续向前。上坡路不少。会经过好几个湖。不过湖边的路，大多是些大
石头。走的并不快。同行的M是个高大的老美。背的包大概超过四十磅，但好像没见他
从里面拿出多少有用的东西。他进山前的晚上，因为赶路，没睡多少，所以下午很快就

了。
建议不要update granite countertop。房子才十八万，买granite的钱收不回来--以后
卖房子的时候，在这样的price range里，granite不是expected feature。
后院的fence，builder的要价有点高，当然要看你用的是什么样的fence。我们找人修
过fence，后院有1/4 acre，六尺高的，也没超过两千块。你要是handy的话，自己就可
以修。 |

其实换一个新的laminate countertop自己做真的不难，有仿granite的光滑laminate，
比granite还容易维护。

然，但容易裂，经不起小朋友敲打，价钱差不多，去 homedepot 看了一下，$40-60/

sink, 拆旧台面+拆接管道 $750 (有点贵）, 请问是直接在homedepot作，还是找厨房
装修公司作？材料有何建议？Costco 也有台面contractor,但价钱明显贵些，不知是不
是质量好很多？不知道granite质量会有很大区别吗？Corian都是dupont的，应该质量

preference.
better quality granite reuqires sealing but probably once every 2 yrs or so.
ok for counter/vanity top. usally darker color is more densed--requires
lesser maintenance.
some like the natural flow of the granite (better once)
for color choice, best go to home depot, lowes, or stone shop at look at the
real stuff. |

间长了开始裂缝。
已经用了口碑最好的siliconized latex bath & kitch use. 而且材料也说可以用在
granite上。
也等到接触面彻底干燥，清洁，caulking后也等了足足一天，说明上只要４小时的。
然后，碰上水了，用抹布擦的时候，觉得那个caulking变得软软的，稍微用劲，居然都
能撕开。尤其是和granite接触的地方，感觉根本粘不住。没水的地方好像没什么问题。
这可怎么办啊？
大家caulking都是用什么材料阿？

我家用的抹布是Micro Fiber材质的,到处都有的卖.我之前在BBB买了一捆,都1年了吧,
到现在还没用完,这个东西不贵的,但比普通的抹布的确好用点.
我家用的Sponge是Non Scratch的,钢丝球这类的我家是没有.我怕把家里的东西擦坏,用的
都是Non Scratch的清洁工具.
<<大理石>>
对付大理石我用Perfect Granite.平时做饭,如果弄脏了,不是特别油的话,我用湿抹布
擦掉.如果特别油的话,我用Perfect Granite擦.然后每周末的大扫除,我会用Perfect
Granite再全部擦一遍.
<<不锈钢电器>>
对付我家的不锈钢电器,我用Perfect Stainless.这个东西不用喷很多,一点点就能擦不

说白色不准确，是那种象乳白色和极少量的金色混合。黑点非常非常少。
然后那个象大理石的granite也非常漂亮，但是更贵。 而且货很少。
绝对不是quartz, 我看了granite之后，觉得quartz很单调，后来看得全是granite.

vinyl还是很经用的。而且也比较好打理。据说现在vinyl可以轻松用到5年以上。以后
装地板也就是撕掉的事情。
厨房台面我看大家有点钱都是会上granite。我的builder装granite最便宜的一档是快
5000块钱。我是属于买房比较撑的。所以就没有加。我这里没有lami的countertop可以
选，我租过lami的房子（一层像纸一样的木头包着炬木屑板子）。感觉还是很耐磨的。
总结一句话，就是你差不差钱。搬进去之前装修好，确实以后会省事情。比如说如果你
以后坐地板人再住在里面可能灰就比较大。但是upgrade是builder赚钱的重要途径之一
。而且地板和granite的水我个人感觉水都不浅，光是builder那里就有很多档次可以选
择。你可能自己也要做一些功课。

1）1993年，估计48万能拿下
厨房要大变动， 灶台不靠外墙，要在屋子中间建ISLAND,装备买SLIDE-IN RANGE, 装
GRANITE, 装ISLAND VENT HOOD, VENT OUT. 厨房里没有煤气管道。
冰箱， 灶台，烤箱，FURNACE, WATER HEATER, 以及大部分窗户 都没换过。屋子里没
有GRANITE。
屋顶是3年新。
2）2000年，CUSTOM BUILD, 估计58万能拿下
整体保养很好. 建的时候厨房，窗户， 门， 地板用料都非常好。厨房厕所 有GRANITE
。没有换过屋顶，门窗， 也没必要换， 时间还没到
贷款都没问题， 新房可能要吃力些。
对房子的装修改造，添置家具，电器 没有概念。 想听听大家的意见。
48万的老房， 加上升级的费用 (说得过去的升级）， 是不是差不多也要53万？
你会如何选？

有缺血的话，是否很难处理，请问有经验的朋友们在哪里怎么购买比较好？另外，我喜
欢一款叫做ice blue的granite石材，目前要价2＊9 是270，请问哪里有更好的价格吗

发帖数: 39 | 29 前天家里的洗衣间地上突然积水，以为是洗衣机坏了。关了水龙头，清了积水。过后还
是有积水。经过仔细检查，发现洗衣机进水龙头下的墙根出水，于是关掉总水闸，水不
再流。这时检查各处，发现水管沿着墙跟渗水有很多处，最严重的是隔壁厨房的下层壁
柜，柜里靠墙处手摸是湿的。壁柜背后的墙就是车库，那边也有湿的。
打电话叫了plumber，还比较在行，那仪器检查，判断出漏处，在墙上打开口，换了一
截水管，漏水至于堵住了。收了400刀。但是，他检查到这根管子通过天花板通到隔壁
相邻的卫生间，靠墙一尺处也有点潮湿，说有可能那边也漏水，建议把整个水管换掉，
不然将来有50％可能还会漏。他说home insurance是cover的（除deductible）。这个
要收1200刀。
更严重的是，他说，壁柜里墙角要除湿，防molds，这个需要打掉下层壁柜，连同上面
的granite countertop。 拿特殊的吹风机吹干要大约1200刀，卸掉cabinets和granite
大概也要1200刀。如果granite搞坏了，还要另外花钱。他说这些保险公司都会出。

自从DIY过木地板，我的胆子越来越大，开始打后院的主意。趁着领导警惕性还比较低
，连吹带骗哄得他同意我实施池塘和小路两大工程。
真正动起手来，才知道这都是比铺地板还要大得多的工程，但是开弓没有回头箭，咬着
牙也把这两件事都做成了。
本着既要美观又要省钱的原则做了一番调查研究，最终决定用水泥和模具做成
cobblestone的小路。

做pave最关键的是一定要处理好基础，通常是铲掉草坪之后向下挖10公分左右，然后用
weed protector打底，再往上铺一层沙子找平地面，然后在其上铺设paver。
我偷了个懒，铲平了地面之后铺上我DIY木地板时揭下来的地毯。这玩意儿很结实，既
能防杂草，又能起到打基础的作用。

做countertop的granite更容易碎更不结实。
不过俺还真没见过granite做地砖的，granite大都是做countertop |

质地不如quartz / granite，容易看着dull不够“档次”吧。。。//个人看法啦。。。
过GRANITE还是需要维护，每年SEAL，不知道作VANITY的话经常沾水最后会什么样。 |

直到1975年，美国邮政才发行了一张纪念哈扬所罗门的邮票，在邮票小型张上印着这样
的话：资助英雄——作为商人和经纪人的哈扬·所罗门提供了北美独立运动所需的绝大
部分资金，并拯救了新政府使其免于财政破产。
哈扬-所罗门出生于波兰莱斯诺，他出身于来自葡萄牙的一个西班牙谱系的犹太家庭，
父亲是一位虔诚的犹太教拉比。青年时期，他学习了希伯来语。 他曾在欧洲游历，获

【新唐人北京时间2018年07月27日讯】美国总统川普周四将访问伊利诺州葛兰奈市(
Granite City)的钢铁工厂。该厂曾经因受到全球过剩的钢铁产能冲击而被迫关停高炉
与炼钢设备并大幅度裁员。现在受惠于川普政府新的关税政策提高了竞争力，得以重启
高炉，并重新增聘了800名员工。
川普总统26日下午将造访美国钢铁公司(US Steel)伊利诺州葛兰奈市(Granite City)的
工厂，该工厂的死而复生，让葛兰奈市成为贸易战中的受益者。
据《世界日报》报导，伊州是美国钢铁产业的重镇之一。近年来，因国外廉价的钢铁产
品不断倾销到美国，让这里的钢铁业界〝元气大伤〞。而葛兰奈市的钢铁厂Works

至于你说you get what you paid for,我好奇你有没有亲身折腾过房子，现在新的潮流
大家都用porcelain，silestones，比marble和granite要坚固要便宜，我自己家用的
granite是几乎最好级别的，100一尺，装了厨房 fireplace和master bath也就用了3个
slab，材料成本15k
我可以想象那些弄到400-500一尺budget的人是花了很多功夫找最贵最贵而不是最好的
材料来装修。。。
