前汽油发动机的downsizing trend根本无从谈起，前几年欧洲的柴油发动机把汽油发动
机甩的越来越远，近年来的downsizing 才使得汽油发动机赶上来
PFI 的turbo 我说是鸡肋是绝对了，准确的说是大面积民用的角度来讲是鸡肋。DI成熟
之前，各种方法用尽，turbo的缺陷仍然很明显。20年前F1用turbo的时候1.5L都可以
charge到1000匹，lag到什么程度呢，车手在进弯道之前就需要为出弯踩油门了
930的turbo lag是出名的。第一代997turbo还没有DI，但是也很不错，其中一个重要因
素是 variable geometry turbine大大提高了瞬态响应和低速性能，过去这么多年目前
为止也只有porsche一家在用，原因还是成本上。第二代09年997才换的DI。

1，我回去仔细看了outcast的贴，才发现他指的是中文，我一直输入英文的iq test，
没发现a打头的网站，这回中文，找到了
2，我打开了那个测试题目，看了前几道，已经可以下结论了
这是高一Geometry里的reasoning部分，分两部分，一个是inductive reasoning，另一
个是deductive reasoning, 现在这个是inductive reasoning里最浅显的部分，就是你
通过observation on premises来猜测下一个shape 或者 number，比如给你一个
sequence前五位，1，3，5，7，9，你能得出第六位是11，因为2n-1. 给你一个三角形
里面内嵌一个圆形，下面是圆形里面内嵌一个三角形，你要猜出下面应该是什么图形。
所以凡是具备高一代数和初等几何知识的人，这套题目都能作下来。
这不是真正的智商题目，没学过几何学或者中学几何很烂的人一定会被砸飞的。
真正的智商题目是另一种测试，我看看还有没有时间给你们讲讲。 |

发帖数: 36 | 46 S大学是私立大学，地方不大，一万多学生，据说某些专业不错，可惜我孤陋寡闻，居
然没怎么听说过。该学校在中部某大城市，学校本身是research school，可惜没有CS
系，只在数学系里有个CS under program。系里的教授们大多是学数学的一流名校出身
，让我景仰不已。所以系里教学和科研都看重，教学负担也不重（一学年四五课）。CS
没有Ph.D program，要带研究生也只能带别的专业的。从这个角度上讲这个position算
是teaching school 一类的position，尽管如此，这个tenure track AP的position还
是接到了近二百份申请，可见现在CS学术界的工作是多么紧俏。 Hiring chair和几个
教授的方向(Geometry,computational biology)跟我接近，经过多重筛选包括一轮电话
面试，我有幸被选中作为第一位面试者。
Hiring chair对我非常nice, 这也是难得的巧合：我的两个研究方向他都曾涉足，这样

总结一下电面和onsite的题目和经验吧，希望对同行有点帮助。
经验就是不光要看dice, simplyhired, monster, careerbuilder etc.
还要积极的去公司career网页投履历。不要在不懂行的猎头上浪费时间和手机分钟。
在电面的时候要把问题写下来做，在onsite的时候要多在白板上先画blockdiagram
再补充口头的解释。

Here, we have 4 different chars. You can consider the appear of each one
as a segment, as shown above. You need to find a segment which overlaps the
segment of every char. In this example, it should be 1->6. Some
computational geometry problem.
