如果是没有franchise的二手车dealer，基本每周都要四处跑auction的
但本版有几个给丰田dealer打工的五毛是很容易鉴别的
胡搅蛮缠就不谈了，他们来就是有预谋的误导
所以具备正常人所没有的翻来覆去的毫无廉耻
闲得没事他们也帮人查vin，为什么？他们本来就在车铺给人换油

最近为了买新车，作了不少准备工作。自己的工作也和经销商有点关系，就想把自己的
一点经验写下来，供大家参考，权当抛砖引玉。如果您是能把鱼翅也能讲到粉丝价的大
牛，或是不差钱的主儿，您就不必看下去了。如果您像我一样是已经知道自己想要什么
样的车，但每次走进车商的大门总担心被小二忽悠高买低卖，花冤枉钱，本文或许对你
有用。
要防止被车商忽悠，就要知道车商可能从哪些方面忽悠你。我们买车的人通常只把眼光
放在新车的价格上而往往忽略了其他方面。但其实新车价只是一个方面，甚至可能是最
次要的一个方面。要理解这一点，只要看看车商的利润构成就清楚了。一般车商的利润
来源于四个方面 : 除了新车外，还有旧车，贷款和保险(F&I) 以及配件与维护(part
and service)而一般人买新车的同时也会与车商在其中一个或几个方面与车商交易。我
的策略就是尽可能限制与车商在其他方面的交易，从而把交易风险控制在新车的价格上

7月底吃了张超速罚单， 大约400块钱， 要8月21号上庭。 但是我八月初就搬家离
开这个城市去外地上班， 不方便回来。 就上网找了个帮dismiss case的律师。
丫说交一百块钱， 就给我不停的改上庭时间， 改来改去改到直接dismiss， 如果不成
功， 也不用我回来上庭。 我觉得这个比较方便， 就花钱雇了他。
结果8月20号还是没有他任何消息， 上网一查， 上庭时间仍然是21号， 就有点急眼，
发email他不回， 打电话留言两次他倒是都回电话了， 但是翻来覆去就是告诉我不要
急， 他有经验， 就是这样的很正常， blah blah。 我觉得如果他是骗子的话就不会
回我电话， 于是又相信了他
到今天还是没有任何回信， 再上网一查， 尼玛呀！！！！

标 题: 我的租车赔付过程

租车出去玩不可避免会遇到些小意外，今年暑假出去玩到Alamo租了9天的车，其间不慎
往油箱里加了柴油(估计没人像我这么大意)。回来后收到Alamo委托第三方寄来的索赔
材料，索赔金额一共是$600多，包括
Damage Repair ($400多)
Loss of Use ($100多)
Administrative Fee ($75)
出发之前加入了American Express的Premium Car Rental Protection，每次租车时用
AMEX卡付款自动扣$19.95，因为这个是Primary的，不用动自己的保险，而且据说赔的
东西比较多。
打电话去AMEX，CSR详细问了我事故的过程，要了我的电话和email，给了个Claim#，说
他们会负责一切，让我等消息。我随即让第三方公司把索赔材料传真一份去AMEX。

这些店大多是franchise，好坏看owner，看看评论。另外他家换轮胎会有一堆额外的
fee，跟有些店比出门价更贵。好处是你的车如果原来是GY，在warranty内可能可以pro

少能赚到钱，服务就好点。总的来说所有连锁店都跟Jiffy Lube是一路货色，换机油马
马虎虎，别的活一概干不好，里面的小工未必比得上DIYer。

. 市场竞争就是这样, 市场有风险, 不敢承担风险的人, 慢慢就会被抓住了机会的后来
人超过. 现在医生们要做大做强, 我的看法, 一个是扩大规模, 把生意做到南美和阿拉
伯国家去. 特别是阿拉伯国家, 富得流油. 另外一个是转型, 譬如作FRANCHISE, 开加
油站, 旅馆, APARTMENT管理等等. 要慢慢在JS的食物链上向上爬. 例如现在房地产低
迷, JS们有没有实力联系起来, 把各个大学周围的APARTMENT都买下一部分, 然后在全
国搞一个APARTMENT CHAIN, 光是每年的中国学生就够JS们服务的了. 这只是举个例子,
希望大家群思广议.
说点题外的话, 我看到一篇文章讲宾州的JS们是如何开拓一个产业的. 当年美国能源危
机, 国会立法, 能提高煤炭燃烧率的化工处理厂可以从国库拿补助. 宾州涌现出一批这
样的工厂, 他们所做的就是买来煤炭, 把汽油淋上去, 然后用成本价卖掉; 而他们的利
润就是国家每年的补贴. 更绝的是, 后来汽油涨价, 处理过的煤炭价格上涨幅度不大,

于franchise的，店都是私人老板自己经营，你去UPS store寄一个ups的包裹，除了付
UPS的shipping外，还要多出近10刀的store fee.
相比fedex, fedex store是原来的kinkos, kinkos本来就是corp store, 然后完全被
fedex买下来了。你去fedex store 寄东西也没啥surcharge ---跟fedex一个价。

allow the same label in two packages and would return the other package back
to you. You may need go back to the UPS store and take a look. Do you have
the dropoff receipt? Practically, some UPS-franchised stores are very bad
and may steal your package.
