蒙校的理论是让孩子由兴趣引导，自由去explore。但是和普通
daycare相比，蒙校有很多玩具，是和字母数字地理生物等知识
相关。所以一般孩子启蒙得早。
但是不同蒙校也会有分别。我儿子上过两个蒙校，第二个academic
的教具要丰富许多。还有，同样是为了培养fine motor，方法上
并不相同，上第一个学校时，孩子的folder里每天放满了art/craft
之类作品。第二个学校他大多时间在拓地图。
还有，两处都教phonic。第一个学校是在我儿子会读简单的书
之后，认为他ready，开始教他简单的phonic。第二个学校更系统

Sorry I didn't say it clearly. My son can follow other people's orders
without any problem. His English is weak, and may don't understand what the
teacher is saying. Then he will give up, just choose to stay on his seat.
However, I do think in some areas, he is a little slower than othe kids at
his age. For example, both Chinese and English are not good enough. He can
say sentences, describe what he did in school everyday, but not as fluently
as others.

我们都很吃惊，但是也没有特意去争执。因为我们现在上的K也是半天的，每天就3个小
时，肯定没有办法挤时间单独在学校上课的，肯定是额外安排时间和地点，那么接送太
烦人了。再说我们想着孩子跟着一直上课，听说总会慢慢赶上来的，所以也没有太在意
这个事。 |

发帖数: 2610 | 49 同意，我有个好友是印度人，她经常带着自己儿子参加当地一些印度节日的聚会。两个
孩子都会说印度语。我女儿目前为止中文比英文好。但是在学校里英文的听说也不成问
题。上次评测里英语是fluently，不用修IES的课。虽然她从来不在家说英文，我之前
还一直以为她英文过不了关呢。
我们在家一直讲中文，每周都跟爷爷奶奶外公外婆视频。我也经常会跟她一起看中国的
记录片什么的。给她讲中国的吃喝行。偶尔也会放一些经典的中国动画片给她看。上次
学校里要求每个孩子完成一个poster，把自己出去旅游和家人的照片贴上去，我就选了
几张在国内玩的照片贴上去，背景都是漂亮的城市景色和自然风光，孩子和老师都很感
兴趣，觉得中国很美很发达，女儿在介绍自己照片的时候也很自豪。
女儿的阅读小组里有个volunteer（估计是某个家长），在学中文，跟女儿在一起的时
候还会问女儿一些中文词句怎么说。女儿跟她聊得挺开心的。
反正在自身种族和文化的认同方面，我觉得她挺自信的。 |

individual to think seriously whether to pursue further.
I could complete Fur Elise in 3 months time and for another 3 months I could
play it fluently. I do not have time to practice 20 minutes everyday. I
believe little kid should be able to do something similar. |
