发帖数: 590 | 4 看到最近版上一直有lease的讨论，跟风说两句，如果有理解不对的地方请多指教
首先，lease和finance对于dealer来说，拿的钱应该是一样的，就是谈好的价格
区别在于lease的话，车是leasing company买的，finance的话是银行买的，你都不算
真正拥有这车，lease和finance各有优缺点，个人认为不是简单的算一下current
value就能客观比较了
lease的优势：
1.lease因为你只是贷了车价的一部分，所以税少，贷款少，如果term比较长的话，月
供相对会低一些。
2.很多公司可以让你提前几个月结束lease，如果你lease一辆同样牌子的车。这样会让
你的deal更便宜
3.结束lease的时候，你可以选择以当初定好的residual value买这辆车，所以相对于
一开始就finance买车，lease到期再买损失的只是lease期间的利率，但多了一个
option，更flexible
3.如果lease结束，不打算买，就相当于finance之后再trade in，但是trade in的价格

发帖数: 8461 | 10 我觉得，除了学生以外，多数工作/博士/博后之类的都有比较稳定的收入，lease个车
每月供300都不会有太大压力。如果没啥存款，lease个新车或者finance一个cpo的是很
划算的。一般lease日本车是最划算的因为日本车的residual value最高（让WSN日托们
接盘去吧！），另外同档次的美国车本身比日本车便宜所以lease的月供可能差不了太
多。一般lease的话我觉得lease中低档车是比较划算的因为这类车相比高档车来说
residual value高所以lease花的钱相对少，而且一般月供不会超过500刀压力不是很大
（相比高档车动辄700-800的月供来说，因为还要考虑保险费）。
如果手里有闲钱，可以买或者作为down pay finance一个高档一点的车。因为高档车买
和lease是差不多的没啥便宜可占。如果用现金买车还要考虑resale value的话，我劝
你就不要用这些现金来买车了。我觉得那些全款买个新Accord，Camry的要么是因为一
些原因没法finance/lease，要么就是脑子有问题。

今天去Dealer谈价准备拿下RDX，一切井然有序，GM竟然是我同公寓的邻居，所以给了
我很好的折扣。结果悲剧的事情就在于finance。
因为本人马上毕业，正在找工作。所以准备trade in自己的二手车finance台新车开开
。这样买新车的税就只要付差额部分，比较划算。Business Manager查好我的信用，分
很高，746，没问题。就是纪录时间不长。本人2010年拿的social，2011年开的第一张
信用卡，所以纪录不长也很正常。然后让我填自己的收入来源，我谎称自己self-
employed，是父母支付薪水，把学费生活费平均成月薪。然后dealer很奇怪，拿我的
social去复印了，查了下说我的身份不同于permanent resident。问我是不是持有visa
。我说我是学生，visa有效期到明年。这样finance就泡汤了。。。说是要有个有身份
的cosigner确保我能完成支付finance term。至此我就没法拿到银行贷款了。不知道大

发帖数: 335 | 13 价钱跟DEALER谈得差不多，但是最终的价格和FINANCE的FLEX CASH有关，咨询下版内的
大牛们涉及FINANCE有几个问题：
1. Finance的时长是不是DEALER所说的VISA有效期内？咱们不论J还是F最多都是一年，
难道FINANCE就最多只能给12个月？
Honda的dealer说honda自己的0.9% APR finance自能在VISA有效期，否则不能用。
是不是其他银行的FINANCE也有类似的限制？
2. 一般情况下，银行的FINANCE APR在什么范围？ 我个人的CREDIT的score在750+，之
前FORD给了个2.59%的APR, 感觉偏高，请教下大家这个如何?

觉得比yahoo finance好用
一是图出来得块，也方便比较
而且它的自动列出新闻的功能那时也挺吸引人
不过最近被它的bug搞了两次让我决定以后多用yahoo少用google了
一次是比较一个rio的adr和在英国上市的rio的股价区别
结果出来的图看上去完全像两只不相关的股票
后来去其他网站比较一下才发现是个google自己的问题
实验了几次之后发现有时有这个问题，有时是好的
还有一次就是前不久看美联航的股票（ual）
结果敲进去默认的是nasdaq上的ual，当然没有股价
次一个选项才是真正的ual，在nyse上市的
但是在google finance上显示股价只有三个月
当时还觉得这可能是由于之前美联航和大陆合并之前delist了
前不久才重新上市的
但是这个错误直接导致了我当时认为ual的股价处于一个低位
结果这两天居然每天都大跌，昨天10%，今天7%
我都傻了，这不是跌破了google finance给的发行价吗？
后来去yahoo和其他网站看了一下，才发现ual这几年一直都交易
而且现在这个股价相对两年前涨了四五倍

请的了解的确有很多偏差，于是觉得有写点东西的必要了。
现在把这些信息写出来也许并不是最佳的时机，但鉴于还有很多人仍在等offer，这些话
希望能有一点点帮助。另外，如果现在不写，说不定忙起来也就再没心情写下去了。在提

先说说finance PhD毕业之后的前景。如果你在美国，finance
PhD毕业之后要么b-school作professor，要么去industry。前一种出路的好处是生活相对

finance的起薪在16万左右，有朋友拿到18万以上；一般的finance系能给到14万左右）。

问题1，MBA vs. master of finance or so, which one is better?
我自己道听途说的情况是, MBA里面finance这个方向是比较好的。如果是这样的话，是
不是读个Master of financial engineering就够转了呢？MBA和MFA不同在什么地方，
优点好在哪里？
问题2，读MBA很重学校名声和工作经验，那么master of finance 这样的degree也会看
中这两样么？

。我只见过Econ毕业在Finance Department工作，没见过Finance毕业在Econ Dep工作
。何况，在同样的Department, 不可能有专做Econ而不做Finance的老师，在同一个
School 或Faculty下到可能。除非小学校小系，但是别人一般是叫Dep of (Business)

发帖数: 70 | 31 如果你有毅力念的话，definitely Ph.D in Finance，以后的出路没得说，去公司去学
校待遇都非常好。不过申请难度也是最大的。而且很难念，我们这的B-school（三四十
名）每年招三四个finance的Ph.D，最后能毕业的最多一两个。
MS Finance我不知道，肯定不如MBA in Finance吧。
MSF应该和我要去念的QCF差不多(Quantitive and Computational Finance)，申请一点
难度都没有，自己掏钱就是了，一般不给奖的。工作很不好找，今年连卡梅，Columbia
类似的program出来的都找不着工作。 |

program 很好， 出来可以去四大，一般是没有问题的。
还有一个选择是去另一个学校读 MS Finance, (我不是理工科背景，不会走Quant这条
路）
现在的困惑是：我也学过一些会计课程，觉得要求比较琐碎（从另一方面讲就是很注重
细节），觉得没有finance学起来有意思（我现在也在看一些finance 的书），而且要
是学者这个Finance program, 毕业比较快。 但是学那个MSF 的学费很贵，而且总觉得
大家一般都在说MFE 和 MBA in Finance, 个人觉得好像MSF 处在中间很尴尬的地位，
以后毕业后Career Path 不是很明确， 而且看很多finance 方向的job opening, 好多
都是和Accounting 相关的，实际上很多挂着Financial Analyst的人就是做会计的。不
知道是不是MSF 出来还没有学Accounting 进四大 赚的钱多？
希望版上的熟悉情况的人，能帮助我一下，马上就要做决定了，真得很头疼。（补 |

是做Faculty, 也假定你说的不是Pulic Finance。其实嘛，你只要能找到位子，在经济

小弟在美top 50的电子系念博士生, 已经拿到硕士学位了, 现在是第三年开头...
因为在funding上, 目前的项目有一些问题, 然后还有我对自己的电子工程的软件方向
失去兴趣了... 在实验室的工作进展也不顺利, 常年熬夜工作, 终年无休息日, 但是还
是没有太多成功, paper也没几篇...再加上之前毕业的师兄就业前景也不好..., 博士
毕业去做与专业无关的代码民工, 在New York 附近也才8万年薪...
经过朋友介绍, 有机会去申请Finance PhD, 而且好像有些学校招Finance PhD时, 喜欢

他们查你信用记录，然后给你一个APR。
不过我是撇开finance不管，先谈OTD
谈好后再走finance，会有finance manager给你做这些。
要是你觉得APR不满意，再谈呗。
要是不行，你也可以找你自己的银行或者credit union 来做finance
我信用记录空白，所以APR几乎是最高的。
不过无所谓了，我就是为了build credit 的。反正也会早早pay off的

I do not know any fresh chinese ph.d. got offer from descent business school
(top 30). Instead, I know a finance Wharton cannot find job (or he does not go
to mean school), a economics Chicago accept a job from a Australia school( he
wants to transfer to finance area),a minnesota finance cannot find job for two
years.
I know the job market for finance in 1990-1992 is tough but later it is better
and better. Let me pray that in |

不会. 美国学校硕士都特好混, 全A学生一抓一大把, 人家宁愿要harvard的一般学生.
社团活动更是bullshit. 你去随便一个学校看看(尤其是二三流学校), 肯定有一堆社团
, 什么chinese finance association, chinese finance society, finance society
of chinese student, asian finance association, 反正这几个词你把所有排列组合
都列一便, 所有P和VP的数目加起来就是全部中国学生的树木了.
finance是所有人都想做的, 门坎很高, 你要勉强的话以后活得会很痛苦. |
