Stanford, it's just another BCS school in football. And this year's Sun Bowl
is stanford's first bowl appearance in like a decade.I don't recall any
stanford QB has been drafted in recent memory.
An irony though: many many starting QBs in NFL, including HOF QBs, are
actually from "unknown" colleges in football, and not highly rated at all
out of high school, such as Favre and Warner.

总的来看今年draf后半区比前半区赚便宜， 靠中间的比靠外面的
赚便宜。原因是拔尖的的star少。但第一档次的一批又比较明显。
draft 优势利用好的south park 首当其冲。首先是RB, 偶认为是
全league最强的。Deuce McA 和Dillon 都是绝对首发风头正劲而且
基本上伤病free. 有了他们俩第三轮还draft bus有点浪费，单同时
也确保了最强RB阵容的形成。WR上mason, Booker, conway, thrash
也都是响当当，联手一齐绝对可以和其他队伍媲美。QB第十轮选到
brett favre是steal也是draft stratagy 完美的利用。TE/K上有
MaMichael和波兰臭炮，solid, solid. Individual defense player(D)
本来是很关键，但在今年roster小队伍少的情况下，draft上反而不管
紧要了。除了ray lewis/Urch以外，其它属于一个档次的球员大把。

论raw talent 和athleticism, QB(其他任何位置都算)只能是一代更比
一代强。为什么这几年没出现什么legend人物呢？ 别忘了有以下原因。
1) 工资帽子以后，想保持一个长年稳定的强阵容基本不可能， Aikman,
Emmitt, Irivin牛掰吧， 可是90年代初的牛仔队的OL是牛掰的起点和
保障。 看今天的Manning, EJ, Harrison就没有这种N年不变得奢侈。
2) 打法的变化， 现在的NFL更讲究clock control. 加上西岸进攻，
没有必要非从一个high profile的QB开始构建队伍。 把多余的钱砸在跑卫，
进攻防守两条线上更值。
3) 有个代沟， 从Steve Young, Brett Favre到McNabb, Vick, Manning
之间的这叉人没什么真出成就的。 再过5年就是另姨妈事了。 |

其中部分功劳也得益于较弱的schedule。NFL没有免费的午餐，出来
混的总是要还的，雷达99年的schedule险恶无比，头两场就作客NFC
中部的两大巨无霸packers和vikings。
首战bret favre领衔的packers,这是rich gannon首次代表雷达出赛，
一炮打响。gannon灵活的步法，配上审时度势的能力，让packers恐怖
的pass rushing毫无用武之地，每次blitz都被gannon于千钧一发之
时惊险躲过，然后抓住对方后场由于人手不够暴露出来的空档，连续
传球得手。packers的blitz屡不奏效，到了下半场，防守主任知道
sack比泥鳅还滑溜的gannon难度太大，干脆一个blitz战术都没有使用。
雷达的每次进攻都占地不多，但一次接一次地3rd down conversion成功，
不断向前推进，gruden心目中的完美进攻，终于在gannon的指挥下成型了。
这场比赛的主角虽然是gannon,但他却没有一次TD传球，

终于等到了盼望已久的大革命，
BYU原来的教练跳槽去了别的学校，
顺手还带走了三个backup quarterback，
加上一个毕业的，
小杨在depth chart上一下子上升了四位，
前途有了盼头，训练有了劲头。
新的教练组上任，
担任quarterback教练的正是
后来大名鼎鼎的hall of fame教练，
Brent Favre的恩师，
桃李遍NFL的霍师傅霍滚轮。(Mike Holgrem)
老霍的眼光自然没的说，
小杨的浆糊地位节节上升，
到了新赛季开始前，
已经升到了第二位，
名列主力QB Jim McMahon的替补。
小杨在NCAA赛场上的第一次亮相就赢得了满堂彩，
Jim McMahon受伤后，小杨仅用了四个play,
传两次，自己跑两次，完成了第一个college career TD。

答案：是啊，他是100％了。可他的队友们都被他搞得胸闷恶心，士气低落，
只能发挥50％。这就是害了球队。（绝对不是说老鹰目前的战绩是提欧导致的）
NFL可不是你single-handed就能取胜的。NFL不是NBA。就算是NBA，
光考一个人也不行。
误解二：T.O.说的都是实话啊。
答案：那你为啥不象他一样呢。你试试明天去公司里到处对人说"我草，我老板
特无能，我同事大部分是白痴，我们的秘书肥的跟猪一样"。呵呵，试试？
这世界上，人与人的相处图个啥？图个被尊重，图个轻松，图个爽。

主队在后。几支客队本周各自恶战一场，可以说除了巨人赢得都不太轻松。主队能首轮
轮空，好整以暇，个人认为胜面都颇大。客队爆冷的情况比较小。
1． 海鹰对绿湾。
海鹰这个赛季实际上是沾了分区和赛程的很大的便宜。同区的49人和公羊基本属于整个
NFL垫底球队,而且分区外的强队都鬼使神差地避开了，对手中打进季后赛的队伍除了
坦帕湾海盗（20-6胜）就是钢人（0-21负）。这个队离了主场的表现实在是难以预测。
不过海鹰的主教练霍师傅既然当过几年绿湾的教练，对绿湾的QB 发哥(Brett Favre)了
如指掌。以霍师傅的江湖阅历，怎么打才能赢这场比赛应该十分清楚。就看比赛时队员
的发挥了。
看了首轮的比赛我想绿湾应该仔细研究怎么对付海鹰左侧的DE科尔尼，争取能够保护好
发哥。绿湾的跑攻有最近冒出来的跑锋Ryan Grant将会十分有威胁，海鹰要小心提防。
绿湾今年的表现有目共睹，不必多说。加上一月份威斯康星的严寒和兰博field有不亚
于西雅图的主场优势，估计绿湾能够拿下海鹰，比分应该比较接近。
2． 结瓜对爱国者。

死很大程度上不是看favre,AP，而是要看OL, DL的表现。
viking赛季后半段输得几场比赛，最大原因是OL保护不力和DL front 4不能generate
pressure。OL方面本来就是赛季开始前的一大隐忧，常规赛打下来，也是offense的最
大漏洞：McKinnie显老态，center和RT都是新兵。前两个赛季AP的神勇，得靠OL，特别
是左侧OL给他打开通道，今年明显不行。前半赛季OL尽管不能open hole for AP，保护
发哥还算中规中矩，所以offense表现不错。输panthers, cardinals和对bears的上半
