star QB is too good for ivy schools and he can go to pretty much any school
he wants except USC and the like. |

go to USC. So I guess Stanford is still his choice and he pays more
attention to the career off the football field. And that's why I recommend
him.

him and he accepted, chances were he would never see the court at those
schools during his collegiate career.
There are too many highly-rated players transferring out of top-notch fball
programs because of lack of PT, such as 5-star QB Aaron Corp from USC to
richmond, Jevan Snead from TX to Ole Miss.
Plus, this year's QB crop is the worst in decades. Many top schools recruit
QB simply for the sake of continuity.

definitely, barring injuries or any off the court problems. But how
successful he will be in the league is a different story.
This decade, the "worst" USC starting QB is Booty, #1 ranked QB of class
2003 nationwide. He was selected by Vikings in the 5th round in 2008. All
the others were eventually drafted in the first round of NFL draft.

发帖数: 14 | 11 it's hard to say since there are more than 100 FBS schools. Speaking of
Stanford, it's just another BCS school in football. And this year's Sun Bowl
is stanford's first bowl appearance in like a decade.I don't recall any
stanford QB has been drafted in recent memory.
An irony though: many many starting QBs in NFL, including HOF QBs, are
actually from "unknown" colleges in football, and not highly rated at all
out of high school, such as Favre and Warner.
