Only annoying vibration comes from transmission I think, every time just
before gear changing, it vibrates.
As your problem, if abnormal vibration appears at certain mph only, then
probably it is alignment or wheel balance issue; if vibration appears at
certain rpm only, then probably there is some part in engine compartment is
not fastened properly. |

发帖数: 29 | 8 蹭到右前方的bumper了,bumper给稍稍掀起一点,去bodyshop估价说fender,bumper都要
换,fender儿有一点点dent,现在body shop的人帮我把bumper fasten固定回去了,所以
其实几乎看不出来,非常底下有一点点蹭了漆,我准备自己touch up.
问题是,bumper和灯还有fender接缝的地方不是安全密封,因为毕竟bent过又固定回去,
时间长了会不会有什么隐患,比如下雨会不会漏一点点水进去,然后生锈之类的?还是不
要紧?如果只是cosmetic的影响,我就不准备换了.

前一阵意外的发现了这个公司，简单调查了一下，发现很有意思，有兴趣的可以研究研
究。没有推荐大家买的意
思，虽然我自己准备把它作为中长期投资的对象考察。
这个公司业务很简单，最早是从生产销售fastener开始，后来逐渐扩展到其他机械零件
。主要是销售，公司的目标
是grow through customer service. 公司所处的行业听起来很boring，不过也正符合
peter lynch喜欢的类型（参
见one up on wall street)，因为boring意味着竞争者不会太多。
这个公司最让我惊奇的地方在于其稳定的增长，一个公司一两年盈利激增没什么，但是

这次不聊 Uber 的文化，聊一下 Uber 的商业模式
迅速的 takeaway 有两点：
1、同样是用低价和高速扩张的方式成长，Uber 却无法得到亚马逊那样的飞轮效应；
2、同样是共享经济，Airbnb 没有低价高速扩张，反而是那个更能得到飞轮效应的公司；
因此, 即使 Uber 的公司文化没问题，我也没那么看好Uber。
在正式论证之前，我想抛出几个现象。
第一个现象是，虽然在我生活的硅谷地区 Uber 已一副赢者通吃的姿态，但在别的地方

发帖数: 5933 | 29 在HOMEDEPOT和LOWES转了一圈还是在LOWES用了10%的COUPON买了一款1/2 HP的INSINK
GARBAGE DISPOSAL。不到90刀。奇怪的是网上可以看到WHIRLPOOL和GE的款式但是到了
店里就INSINK一个牌子。
两个店里都说95刀安装费。自己装完了之后才知道美国的人工费真高。安装过程其实很
简单，跟着INSTRUCTION装就行。有几点需要说明一下。仅供参考交流。
1）GARBAGE DISPOSAL的盒子里头基本上该需要的都有了。除了腻子（PLUMBER'S PUTTY
），PLUMBER WRENCH，和PIPE 的连接圈还有FASTENER（如果要连DISHWAHSER的出口的
话）要单买。其他的都在包装里了。
2）很多INSTRUCTION里说先上腻子，其实不合理，在装DISPOSAL的时候肯定会把FLANGE
顶起来。上腻子也没用。所以个人觉得应该是在上完SINK FLANGE和DISPOSAL的扣环之
后，上DISPOSAL之前再填腻子。这样还可以利用DISPOSAL 本身的重力压紧腻子。这东
西不值钱，多填也无所谓。就是不要少填。 |

homedepot. You probably don't have the skills to put such a large piece on
the ceiling.
You need to hire somebody to cut the portion of the damaged ceiling out and
then replace it with a new piece. Some wood pieces might be needed to keep
the new ceiling in place. The new ceiling has to be fastened using screws.
You then have to cover it with putty or ceiling paint. You probably also
have to sand it a few times to keep it |

Metal roofing made from galvanised steel in sheets of strips are much
cheaper, they have many patterns and color choices avail to mimic other roof
material. They also install very faster.
I prefer mechanically seamed metal with concealed fasteners contains sealant
in seams than flat-seam metal with soldered seams. |

I know people here getting that done in the winter. Yes, all the problems
you folks mentioned are true, but what the heck, shit works. After the first
summer, there is no difference. (For those worrying about sealant, shingles
are mostly fastened by nails. Only the lower edge needs to be glued down
for high winds might blow them up.)
But they all did get a good bargain. Personally speaking, I would rather not
take that risk for a bargain.

刚刚做完最麻烦的部分，拆旧的drywall joint bead
不知原来为什么用铁铝类的，不防潮啊，都绣得很薄了 (因为drywall joint 很靠近浴
缸) 用锯子锯下来，然后铲除周围的漆和compound
磨平了后，换上Vinyl joint bead (不需要用fastener, 卖joint bead 地方有卖3M的
喷胶，喷出来是红色的)
然后上了compound, 等24小时，明天就进入技术活阶段，打磨compound 表面
进程算是过半了 |
