they have the priority/privilege. on other words, that road belong to them, they don't need to care your action; you are borrowing to use their road, so you need to make sure that your action will not endanger
them. but this does not always mean that you need to make a full stop because sometimes that car may be far away, or there are more than one lanes, and they happened to be on a different lane.

我迷惑的是，有yield牌子，如果高速上当时正好有traffic夹不进去，那就一定要full
stop来等。但是一等的话，速度又下来了，那等到空当，再加速再插到traffic里面，
好像也很危险？到底怎么做才是正确的呢？
我一开始以为是我们速度太快了，现在貌似又是速度太慢了，才引起的问题。真的比较
混了。。。

a ticket for traffic violation, you still need to come to a full-stop to
yield them, and only pass them when you are sure it will not
endanger them. These two situations are separate.
