况吧。难免有一点主观，一家之言，仅供大家娱乐。
在12,13连续2个90+胜利的赛季之后，红人队对于2014是雄心勃勃的。先说说他们休赛
期间的主要变动:
1. Kerry Wood和Mark Prior一辈子恨之入骨的总教练Dusty Baker退休了，红人找来新
教头Bryan Price. 这个变动个人觉得影响不大。
2. 2013打出优秀赛季的韩炮秋信守离队。秋的特点是超高的OBP,红人用Billy
Hamilton补上第一棒的空缺。客观讲，这个影响不小，但红人确实无法负担秋的大合约

打NBA--那个是比高考残酷百倍的真。千军万马过独木桥，能有实力竞争大学奖学金的

everyone's preseason All-American list this year before he knocked out his

who were hired and laid off because of drug issue. Bai was affected the
most.
Another point that strikes me is that running in very dusty + windy
environment in Ning Xia seems so unhealthy which kinda ruined the value of
the whole project. |

历了。。
"Get the fuck up!" Dusty yelled, but I couldn't get up. I wouldn't. "The

I looked at my friend. Couldn't he see that I wasn't going to take anyone?
He squatted, folded himself until our faces were inches apart. He looked
into my eyes.

发帖数: 286 | 40 恩，我其实也没觉得pacer不重要，只是在这场赛里，因为安全可控，没有太多风险，
主要是精神上的支持，那我就不如看看自己能不能抗得住。这也是为什么之前去现场跑
了两次赛道的关系，主要就是为了晚上比较顺利。
至于那些大赛，我非常明白，因为有不同的风景，胖胖估计也会比较精神好点，pacer
就到时候再看吧。
我看了eat and run，我也看了没那么多人看到的对于Dusty Olson的专访，其实我会觉
得有些悲伤，那些感激和肯定其实有时候弥补不了那么巨大的自我放弃和牺牲。每个人
会有不同的看法吧，Jurek的故事里的这一部分其实并不是我喜欢的。
不过，我觉得说不定以后我可以当个好pacer:) |

发帖数: 41236 | 41 pacer也算不上巨大的牺牲吧，本来就是有共同爱好的，算一起合作，
Jurek的书从头到尾都花了很多篇幅写他，也算是给足了他credit,
不然根本没人知道Dusty是谁...
Crew/Pacer主要一个作用就是精神上的，我第一场ultra比赛，就碰上
下大暴雨，LD也没抱怨啥，晚上居然还在帐篷里看paper..虽然她也几乎2
晚上没合眼，但是返程6小时车都是她开的..
比赛的时候，ultra runner因为处于应激状态，很可能都会做出些不同
寻常的举动（普通人因为时间更长，所以压力更大），crew/pacer都得
理解并会引导才行，如果不能理解，反而互相抱怨，那么失败的机会
就会非常大了...

缆车大牌子上写着”today： dusty/crusty condition",意思就是冰渣上面一层浮雪。
顺着缆车上去，半山腰一层薄云，陪着朝阳，映衬的teton range很是迷人。地貌和科
州70边的几个mountain range的确不同，感叹造物的神奇。 |
