they felt almost sensual yet least imposing. the writing was seamless, sad,
warm and very very sweet. thought of "little prince" & some old dusty russian
books when going through this story. yet it kept to its own. bravo.

readable than expected for bibliographies.;) another book i once read on
proust is also interesting, passionate and sensibly analytical, and it ends
with "even with proust you can be done with it." something like that. i tried
to get it years after but couldn't recall the title. and for an old dusty
book once digged out in the library i even didn't have a single impression on
the cover.

我看的时候已经讲到福建安溪的茶了，然后是德化的瓷器。
然后讲泉州，那个记者也是心存恶意的，问工资多少，
那个加拿大回来的海龟傻的很，说每个月100美元左右，
哪有这样比的，在泉州100美元跟在北美100美元能是
一个生活水平嘛。然后晚上去娱乐场所，PBS的那个记者
说这跟LA差不多了，我看着里面姑娘浓妆艳抹，笑翻了。
接着讲到了湄洲参观妈祖，一个不说英文的导游也能
给记者介绍得有来有去得，晕！然后飞到海南，最后在
海滩上，记者说，在这么多天“DUSTY”的环境后，最后
能在这样的海滩上休息，总算如何如何了。嗯，他把
海南比作中国的夏威夷。
看完我总算明白老外喜欢看中国的什么了。泉州现代化
程度不低，他偏要拍街上那一个拉二胡的老乞丐。以后
大家有机会给老外当旅游，专门把他们带去看犄角旮旯就
对了，他们就喜欢这个。 |
