good tennis performance requires skill, stamina and mental strength.
long distance driving takes out mental strength.
while long distance running is a relaxation on mind, which is no comparison.
and you did not even time the race.

conditioning has always been my issue which makes me more admiring of Dok's
fitness level. but then again, when you are pushing the big 50, you probably
don't want to be doing conditioning drills so you can get to the next
tennis level.
Dok started tennis when he was 38, I started tennis when I was 32. not sure
about Dok, but I am pretty happey where i am with my tennis, good or bad,
win or lose. |

奔什么发球的段子让俺看了好笑，还损俺呢，就这水平还不如我38岁那年拿
着小一号的儿童拍练了3个月的水平。更别说想跟俺现在过招了。那是找抽啊，真要
打，这个费家的废物，在俺手里油条烧饼3小时直到把你打趴那里吃不动为止。

我个人还是很赞同你对事物的认识，以及诲人不倦的这种锲而不舍的态度，如果麦地缺
了你的答疑解惑甚至大声疾呼，的确好像要失掉很多色彩。我想，包括蝎子版主，还有
我在内的很多CMG，都希望见到你继续在这里帮扶后进。我理解你的抨人，往往是有原
因的，尤其认为某些言论是在散播流毒，既然版主碍于某些游戏规则不便干预约束，你
就当仁不让的替天行道，战一番牛鬼蛇神。不过这里也许值得商榷一下的是形式问题，
虽然我们经常认为内容重于形式，但也经常有时候形式会重于内容，所以有‘以辞害意
’‘引喻失义’等习语。
虽然你认定你打得是白骨精，但白骨精往往是穿着伪装出现的，或化作老汉/老太/媳妇
等模样，或扎着言论自由民主公平的幌子贩摇头丸，你这一棍一棍下去，没把白骨精打
死，却把唐三藏（尚不具火眼金睛的旁观CMG）吓得气的够呛，甚至站在白骨精的立场

距我所知，这个姿势应该是现代打猎发展出来的。
过去美军还在用大八和１９０３的时候，军队训练无依托的立姿也是接近竞赛的姿势，
就是塌腰没这么大，而跪卧是用皮带的。 当时的皮带是一折半的，利用前面的小圈，

难”到他10年后还没混进住院，却每次要背手撒尿不服气跟条疯狗一样啃俺脚跟的
露色儿，不就是当年你在医学版胡乱放P给人“看病”支招让俺训了一顿，从此换了
那个ABCD的马甲就跟俺仇上了，跟着那个PGY-2的内科光脚婆子朝俺仍小非针不止。
你看不起俺76分过线近50才当医生，你就混个人样出来给俺看看也好臊俺一把不是？
一个拿自己师兄成功考高分来扁俺却自己到今天还混不进住院的家伙都 不知丢人丢

Actually, one CMG at OSU is doing his 2nd-yr fellowship and next yr he can
take Rad board exam, if pass, he can be certified and practice anywhere at
US.
He is not the only one. Another CMG at U of C already practiced as attending
there for yrs.
That's why I invited this CMG to dok-forum for those ppl who has Radiology
background and want to go this short-cut.
But, this opportunity is very very difficult to get, you must have inner
connection and big support!

力刀转给生物同学们：
记得前年来这里扔过一砖，惹得口水四溅。再来一砖，给生物版老在喊命不好的。
与其喊苦和没出路，不如自己下决心找出路。很多医学版得其实也是生物版的，他
们在那里混而不在这里萎缩，是因为他们想通了，决心走不通的路并开始为之努力
了。
说明一点：我不是来劝退，也决不是反和看不起生物的，有愿意为自己选择生物一
条道走下去的我坚决支持和敬佩，没有任何二话和歧视。我比较烦和看不起得是那
些自己看不起自己得专业，又不去试图改变自己得WSNV们。
转帖的例子应该对你们有所启发。麦地版有好多正在努力走这条路得生物男女。

2. 我坚决同意“让尽可能多的人做上住院医。” 但做法很多， Dok helps, so does

4. 做上住院医以后呢？ Struggle的人到处都有。CMG不缺intelligence， 缺的是对美
国文化的理解。美国文化的精髓是什么？ 民主。 奴才文化下培养出来的子民对民主的
理解有着永远的缺失。 如果你只是为了服务唐人街的老中， Dok is enough。
礼贤下士，虚怀若谷， 容忍异己是复兴medi的根本出路。

every year. It is your personal choice. Another way to look at it is: Do
you have any good alternatives?
I have known quite a few people who came to the US in the late 80s. The US

又到火柴日，今年的名单和去年类似，加上潜水的，不知道每年match上的能不能过百
。考版这个事，我周围的MD没有不知道的，在准备的人数也很可观。不过每年就这么几
个人还是太少了。
我只能文科生判断－－－无统计，样本来自于周围的人。如果你double９９，match基
本上没问题，即使一年不行，某个科不行，最后总能成功。如果step１，２都无高分，
甚至是８０＋，match的机会就很小了。这种时候多半会靠关系，运气，其它背景等等
，总之无法用来做广泛的参考。
刀前辈可能会来挖苦我了。而且每年的名单上也的确有很多８０＋的。不过在所有的８

这个版上真的是能人太多了，而且丝毫没有把我们版务放在眼里，明令禁止的事情有些

现在我宣布，直到东部时间星期天晚上11：59PM，大家都可以在麦地为所欲为，包括对

有人的地方就有江湖，这句话特别有意思。麦地这么一个小小的地方，因为涌进来的人
越来越多，渐渐地形成一个小小的CMG社会，也就不可避免地有了恩怨。
麦地存在的意义是什么？答案其实特别明确，就是帮助广大 CMGs 考版行医的。这里有
两方面的帮助，一方面是直接介绍自己的考版行医经验，比如说考试经验，面试经验等
等；另一方面是分享自己的感受，比如说住院医的痛苦，做了attending以后的奢靡生
活等等。经验可以让后来人提升自己的实力，而感受也能激励鼓舞后来人，让考版之路
没那么痛苦，甚至有了欢乐。
过去几年，在麦地里对CMGs考版提供帮助的有很多前辈，包括很多attendings,还有申
请者之间的互助。从个人上来说，贡献最大的是老刀，因为他立志于让CMGs在美国强大
