2. 这种情况，作了Tracheotomy ，一般需要多久可以拿出来。对孩子影响多大。
3. 如果不做气管切开术（Tracheotomy），这种先天发育的不正常是否能够自己
长好,需要多久？做了会影响其发育吗？
4. 如果我愿意承担风险，即使医院拒绝discharge，我是否有权利把孩子领回来
不做手术？
5. 芝加哥地区有好的Pediatric ENT doctor推荐吗？

我在某大公司任职软件开发某部门经理，此公司为高科技咨询公司，任职期间一直得到
上司赏识，为本部门做出突出贡献。在四个月前得到公司最佳员工奖。
但是，两年前刚刚被promote的时候，组里有四五个一小撮印度人，他们都是同乡，搞
裙带关系，把所有的有关知识都据为己有，经常把项目时间拖得很长，基本上是讹诈
公司，两个小时能干完的，报预算的时候说成一个星期，把系统经常故意搞乱，起码
一个月来那么一次人围事故，然后再跳出来当英雄。
我看在眼里，心里很清楚，但是不能立刻动手做些什么。后来，我想办法将这个一小撮

去照了个X-ray，报告这样说：

发帖数: 1242 | 36 上IUD几年意外displaced了导致怀孕。从知道怀孕的第一天开始就非常折腾，两个医生
一个护士费了九牛二虎的力气差点没把我全麻了才把IUD取出来，然后每周一次去查b超
看心跳，连看了三周才看到。。。
11周验血就因为我们老大出来的时候是大宝宝，所以就开始给我验一小时血糖，结果指
数超高没过，不用三小时直接上学习班，扎手指。那周五也不知道是因为被医生吓得还
是自己心情太不好，导致大出血去ER。。。
后来就被转到看perinatologist，每两周去看一次。开始的时候还可以偶尔多吃半片/
一片面包，现在28周多了，别说多吃一口，就是吃完饭没立马出去散步都会超标，搞得
有时间基本不敢吃主食。别人都是现在才开始注意，可怜我已经吃这种low carb diet4
个月了，还有两个多月不知道怎么熬下去。
上周五去看医生，医生看了我的数据说让我吃药。我原来不想吃药，可是我越来越忍受
不了这种diet，过得好郁闷，每次做饭都很frustrated。今晚出去吃了河粉，结果血糖
197！！狂踩了30分钟自行车还168。。。

候，儿子一个人坐着似乎在画画，看见我也不过来。我过去，他不让我碰他的右胳膊，
很可怜的说胳膊疼。我马上发现胳膊肘处肿胀。讯问teachers，没人注意到这个，有人
说他在11点左右的公园里玩时摔了一下，然后他没事了。我马上联系summer camp的负
责人，要求一个事故报告。
我带儿子去了急诊，两个小时以后，医生诊断说他的上臂接近肘部骨裂（minimally
displaced supracondylar fracture with moderate sized elbow joint effusion）
。下面我们需要带儿子见othopaedic doctor打石膏和复查，大概要4-6星期才能拆。
医生说这种伤常见于小孩从较高处摔下，但小孩应马上感到疼痛并不能活动。而summer
camp老师说儿子摔了以后还和别的孩子一块游泳和吃午饭。我们的疑问有（1）究竟什
么造成骨折；（2）如是在公园里摔跤造成的，我能马上发现并判断须去医院的情况在
三小时内竟然无人察觉。想起来儿子真是可怜。

可怜的孩子，月子里特乖，不哭不闹，除了吃不怎么乖，其他都特好。一个星期就能抬
头，一觉能睡4-5小时。没想到，一送医院检查，murphy‘s law 就apply了。现在医生
宣称要做trachotomy,不然就有生命危险。实在很难接受。特来万能的bbs请教。

Roughly 1,100 Chicago Public Schools employees are being laid off, among
them 550 teachers whose jobs were cut because of declining enrollment,
officials said Thursday.
The teachers who were laid off are eligible to reapply for jobs elsewhere in
CPS, officials said. In past years, more than 60 percent of displaced
teachers have found work within CPS, according to the district.

发帖数: 202 | 45 我们这一代大概没有归属感了，至少我没有，我现在回到国内除了朋友多生活上丰富多
彩一些，精神上文化上很多时候其实依然是不适应的，将来再回到美国当然还会有永远
无法真正融入美国文化的问题，所以这辈子大概都是displaced。
至于孩子，从小处可行的地方来讲就是要自信，其它的像归属感之类的问题都会有相应
的答案吧，至少解决起来可能会比较容易。我对自信的最基本的理解首先是要接受自己
，也接纳别人。
我女儿就不是很自信，大概小时候偏胖她自己从大人的话语里也能感受到。但这个是可
以改变的，趁孩子还小的时候家长要多夸使劲夸。不过我没有像温暖阳光一样刻意说黑
头发最漂亮，我会说每一种颜色都非常美，一个女孩子只要爱笑，都是最美的；就象小
狗，每种颜色的小狗都非常可爱。我女儿有浓密的棕黑色长发，我也经常发自内心的带
着羡慕的口吻夸她。 她的英语老师是个很胖的黑人，但素质很好，因为之前我给她有
过肤色的教育，她见到老师没有任何不适应，非常坦然。家长多带孩子运动，既健康了
身体又减了肥还增强了自信。 |

Tesla Motors Inc. (TSLA), the electric-car company whose stock climbed
fourfold last year, was slapped with a junk credit rating by Standard & Poor
’s because of “considerable uncertainty” about its long-term prospects.
The unsolicited B- ranking, six levels below investment grade, reflects a
business “constrained by Tesla’s niche and independent market position,”
