的声音拼出了Peking，就像听到香港人用粤语说香港，于是拼出了Hongkong。几百年里不管是洋人的读法还是汉语的读法都发生了很大的变化，不论是Peking还是Beijing，都应该按照现在的最与时俱进的普通话读法来发音。
我原本的帖子里说的意思是，即便在现代普通话里，北京的声母B和英文中的辅音/B/的发音是不一样的，汉语拼音用B和P分别代表不送气和送气的清音，而B通常是表示浊音的字母（比如在英语中）。这是造成误解的源头。
