整个过程比较顺利。带着小孩，面试整个过程都跟面试官聊小孩的家常。上来把主申请
人的demographic问题问了一遍，更新的信息用红笔在485的表上改了下，然后把副申请
人的demographic问了一遍，也是改了下。然后就问485的yes/no的问题，让主副一起回
答，大概问了80%，跳了一些，说是让小孩赶紧离开。材料就要了体检（当初提交485没
有交），和小孩的birth certificate。工作，结婚，美国出入境啥都没问到。
面试完说要给我approval，说是很快发卡。但是我告诉她，我的还没current呢，她可
能把我当成world wide的时间了。然后她又去确认了下，的却没有。最后告诉我说，她

现在他们觉得亚裔的处境就和他们当年一样所以愿意过来帮亚裔支持反高校入学用‘族

在线广告无非两种，performance-based advertising(比如google的AdWords) 或者是
brand advertising (比如yahoo的banner ads). 现在第一种主要是靠search, Google
是一家独大.
Google主要是做第一种，优点是user actively look for info, 所以CTR什么的都自然
高, 但是缺点是不容易做demographic targeting. FB之所以很火, 主要是因为有
demographic data，所以在brand advertising有潜力。但是这个论调已经n年了， 潜
力归潜力，问题是how。
还有一个问题是Measurement的问题。 Google这种performance-based的广告很容易
quantify performance，什么CTR啊， ROI啊很直接，花多少钱有多少收益很直接。 但
是brand-advertising很难quantify效益，这个是大难题。如果FB能解决这些问题，那

最近『星岛日报』新闻上，有位三藩市华人房东因租霸长期欠租，而被迫银主盘。在银
行清盘的过程中，发现这些导致他破产的租客仍然住在他的楼房里，激愤难当！他与这
些租客发生骂战，并升级到肢体冲突。事后，租霸恶人先告状，报警把房东送进了牢房
。可怜的房东，因为不懂租务法律，白白失去了心爱的房子，一生的积蓄也化为虚有，
还失去了做人的尊严。
这样的故事天天发生，华人业主的租务纠纷，让许多人倾家荡产。甜美的美国梦，有可
能一下子就掉进官非的深渊。这样的故事罄竹难书，令人心酸。三藩市的租务法律为何
到了这种不公平的地步？这要从其租务条例的简史说起。
（一）背景
三藩市是弹丸之地，面积7英里x7英里（121平方公里），人口约80万。人口密度与香港
