就注册去上课了，发现价格已经改了，是$19，
不过用promotion code (X2B-C8B-A94) 依然可以减少$2。
现在已经不能只是开着电脑耗时间了，我试着开机，但出去了3-4个小时，回来就要求
重新log in了。而且也不能直接参加final exam，必须答对各章的所有试题才能到达
final exam，而且各章的题目之后还有一题“security question”，就是问关于前面
学习材料中的图片、录像中的内容，所以还不得不点击看看，总共也需要不少时间。不
过有个节约时间的方法，就是先到问题的一页，看完问题再点击“previous”回到前一
页寻找答案，利用IE的“编辑”菜单下“查找（在当前页）”的功能可以快速定位。如
果中途log off再回来log in，得一页页翻过之前做过的章节，不过不需要重新做题就
是。到达上次退出地方，就自动加载之前这一章的内容。

两周前被追尾了，叫了警察和ambulance （因为我觉得心慌气短+头被磕了一下很不舒
服），后来警察作了报告，ambulance的人给我测了个血压摸了摸脑袋什么的说应该没
有大问题，所以没有坚持去医院，互相交换了保险公司的信息
当时除了bumper 有些损坏之外，驾驶座前面控制灯的 panel 被震掉了，警察的report
有写，我们也有拍照片，回家之后检查发现后面trunk 里面还有个小东西给震断了，
然后驾驶座上的窗玻璃有松动，所以完全关上的时候会有问题（因为当时被撞的时候驾
驶座的玻璃是半开的，我想是这个原因），但是因为当时没有发现，所以警察的report
上没有写
后来辗转联系到对方的保险公司，他们的 adjuster 说只能先估算bumper 的损失，至
于其他部分的损失，要我开去collision center，他们做了检查之后才能估计。所以今
天去了collision center，对方态度很不好，认为那个估价单子上没写的就是对方不负
责的，所以要修的话要我们自己负责，我让他给adjuster 电话，最后的说法是，他们

collision就是选两个deductible, liability就选一个property damage的价格。我也
可以理解成liability是撞了别人车以后保险cover的修别人车的上限，collision
deductible是撞了别人车以后自己需要付的最低金额啊。但事实上liability是
liability, collision是collision。 |

网上quote了geico，state farm，跟agent要了liberty mutual的，最后一个最便宜，
选的都是最低保额的，collision和comprehensive的自付都是1000.
但是听说至少liability要选100k的，对于新手要也做全保。
大家觉得呢，全保都包括什么，我很想买的liberty mutual，它给我的报价包括
liability, uninsured motorist coverage, other than collision, collision,
towing and labor, waiver of collision.这是不是全保？

其实你仔细看看保险单，collision部分其实没有多少钱。
给你举个例子，我有一台车半年保险全保250，其中lialibity 130，
comprehensive 30, collision 40, non-motorist 30 这样的比例。
车祸其实比你想象的要频繁，花几十块保护你价值上万的财产还是划算的。
另外collision的另外一个作用是减少发生车祸之后的麻烦，如果你只有liability
如果对方抵赖，你基本没办法，没人能帮你。但是，如果你买了collision，
你自己的保险公司就会主动去帮你了。 |

事情这样的，邻居撞了我的车，走保险，去了geico指定的collision center修。然后
除了第一天接到了collision center的电话说要换bumper之后，再也没接到电话和短信
。过了一周多后收到邮件说我的车已经修好，取车的时候collision center说我的车一
周前就修好了，拒绝支付这一周的rental car。我在还rental的时候enterprise的人告
诉我enterprise和geico的communication log显示中间我的车delay了，但是这个log暂
时打印不出来，因为没有确定是哪一方的责任。
argue后收到邮件：

- 通勤用的: 要省油, 一天近100迈呢,
- 美东雪太大啦: 要4WD/AWD,
- 要有倒车像机
- 质量好,可靠性高,cost of ownership要低(耐造).没必要GPS,leather seats等华而
不实的东西.
一直开丰田Sedan+雪胎,型号从小开到大.这次看车,完全本着公平的心态.不是太急,所
以一个个来.家里有个mid-size的SUV,这次就看小一点的.美国车可靠性跟质量忽上忽下
,虽说有几个不错的,但终究没有勇气去考慮.
韩国车,近年来个方面有了长足进展,外观内饰均不错,操控也算自如,但总的来说,油耗
依然高.性价比上总的来说,日车还是可以考慮的:
首先看了看Consumer Report.速霸路森林人排名第一.速霸路森林人. 2.5Premium+

发帖数: 674 | 45 昨天就打算写的，实在懒得动手。这次是local的hiring event，一共只见了4个人（4个组的manager），运气不错，题目都很容易，以至于有的题目我都忘记了，anyway都是版上的经典问题。
1. 经典的3连击问题。不过问的很细，hash table如何设计，怎样处理collision，写出具体的处理collision的程序。然后又问，如果已经有了这个所有的三连击的数据，怎样用来这个做recommendation，怎么evaluate你的算法好不好，实际情况中怎么改进。如果有新产品加入，没有之前的三连击数据，怎么给recommendation。如果一个用户只点了一次或者两次，怎么给recommendation。
2. 数组两个数和等于给定的sum问题，一个longest substring的trie问题，还有两个巨大文件只有一行不同怎么找出来，怎么sort一个大文件等等（这个人问得最多，但是也最容易，7,8个很琐碎算法经典题，我都记不起来了）。

稍微麻烦一些。相同的数hash（％）到一起，用一样的方法处理
不同的数hash到一起，得用open addressing
(0) 如果a[i]已经在正确的位置(i==j)或者a[i]<0，直接i++
(1) a[j] == a[i], a[j] <- -a[i]-1, i++
(2) a[j] == -a[i]-1, a[j] <- a[i], i++
(3) otherwise, 如果((a[j] > 0) && (a[j] % n == j)) || ((a[j] < 0) && ((-a[j]
+1) % n == j))就说明是collision了（我们估且认为不同的数hash到一起才是
collision）。没有collision的话，就直接交换a[i]和a[j],i不变
处理collision就用open addressing：一个一个搜索，知道找到一个尚未处理过的位置
，或者找到正确的hash slot
细节蛮多的，基本上就是实现open addressing了……

就是那个每次收20块钱左右，最多cover一个月的。本版很多人吹捧这个卡，说花了这
个钱就不用买任何租车公司的保险了。
我刚才dig了一下：
Coverage (for you and your passengers)
* Up to $100,000 of primary coverage for damage or theft of a Rental Car.
* Up to $100,000 of Accidental Death or Dismemberment coverage.
* Up to $15,000 for excess medical expenses.
它家不包括liability。而同样的coverage，VISA跟MASTER根本就不收钱。
结论：这个Program就是个垃圾。
