但是以前schwab有信用卡
只要办了这个信用卡就可以免brokerage account的月费

发帖数: 944 | 16 你的问题很好回答：不需要，因为我现在拿到卡了，但是还没有申请任何fidelity的brokerage account。另外，打电话问了，FIACardservice在没有redeem account的情况下会替你保管5年，所以如果5年内你不转出的话就会过期。。。
另外，汇入brokerage的钱一样可以转出的，所以brokerage account大体可以理解成，具有买卖股票能力的checking account。我在Schwab的经验就是这样，不要以为brokerage account是什么古怪的东西。存进去的钱人任何时候想去出来都可以，存在里面可以是现金的形式，不需要一定买股票什么的。 |

Management账号，但是能确定注册的时候用的是Brokerage账号。去年拿过AA和Delta的
mileage。周五上午收到邮件说我的账户类型ineligible。我看了下以前的帖子，这种
问题似乎经常出现在用Cash Management账户注册Delta offer的时候，最后多数人也拿
到了点数。请问，还有人也有相似经历吗？就是用Brokerage帐户注册UA也收到
ineligible的邮件？不会去打电话问客服，估计只能继续cycle然后等待了。。。 |

citi显示有fee，但是我打电话，fidelity保证能退回
pnc是我想尝试下，因为是发卡行，发现居然没有fee。
我应该再试一下BOA。再等两个工作日看最后结果。
打电话问了下，一般人注册有两个账户，一个是brokerage，一个是cash management，
都有对应的卡，但是一般寄出来的是连接cash management的这个（我就是这个），这
个卡是没有手续费（更准确的是手续费返还）。也可以网上选择enroll brokerage 的
卡，这样就是用brokerage 账户的钱。通过电话再次确认的是，cash management余额
为0显示是正常现象，同时我这张卡没有连接brokerage账户，通过atm看不到账户信息
，显示为错

brokerage账户能进行的交易，买卖股票之类的，交易方面的区别是它没有灵活的
margin。但是有很灵活的checking 功能，现金部分有利息，5家银行的cash sweep (提
供125W美元的FDIC保障，普通银行一个账号只有25W额度）, debit card/ check
writing without minimum deposit limit. 免费同其它银行账号之间转钱。
开户的时候可以只开cash management account, 但是客服和系统都会建议你再同时开
个brokerage account, 号称是方便区别开交易活动和现金活动，说brokerage account
就相当于你的saving account, cash management account就相当于你的checking

心得做投名状。主要是给新人看，老鸟们请指正。
个人感觉版上的人对Fidelity (FD)熟悉，对Vanguard (VG) 略显陌生，看到一个帖子
里还说VG的fund大都不好，我不同意，在这里把两者比较一下。以下评论仅适用于股票
基金，债券基金我不熟。
1. MF种类：FD wins 。FD 本身的基金就比VG多，而且可以免费买NTF。有一个基本
区别要强调一下：在VG开户有MF account 和brokerage account 的区别。MF account
只能买VG自己的基金，BROKERAGE ACCOUNT 还可以买很多别人家的NTF，但每年收$30的
管理费。FD的账户其实既是MF账户又是一个免费的BROKERAGE账户。如果你还买个股的
话，无论如何要开个FD的帐户，倒不见得用它来交易（手续费颇高），但它的RESEARCH
资源远远胜过其他任何DISCOUNT BROKER。

1) I converted my previous 401K into a rollover IRA so that I do not limit

得能得到比银行高的利率。如果你不去操作买卖基金，利率还是很低、和银行差不多。
如果你用心思去操作买卖基金，也不是一定会赚的，也有赔本的风险。从online
saving, brokerage里面取钱应该都没什么手续费的，但如果brokerage里买了基金，可
能会有load，也可以会有提早卖出的罚金，不过要视具体基金而言。 |

有些大loan或者有多个房子的人，银行会要求在过户之后，你的账户里还有足够的资金

如果想要用brokerage account做down pay或者付settlement cost，还是要提前转到
regular checking / saving account,
提前多少由你自己决定，但是银行要看到资金转好到账之后才会approval loan to
settle/close. 而且如果是最近一期statement之内转的，银行要看both account的转
帐记录和statement,最好不要有其他大笔的进进出出，不然都要问哪里来的。。 |

随卡寄来的单张上面说的来看，这个卡应该是一块钱消费得一点，只有link上brokerag
e帐户之后才能转成cash back，相当于1点=2c
那么我的问题是，如果在link brokerage之前（如果时间差距>一个billing cycle）所
得的点数，还能不能转成cash back？
再者就是他家那个checking card，在国内用的话，有tx报告会refund atm fee，但是f
oreign transaction fee能不能免呢？如果是的话，基本上在国内就不用局限于建行用
BOA卡了
