择开mysmartcash，网上可开通，立即批准
brokerage account。另外，打电话问了，FIACardservice在没有redeem account的情
况下会替你保管5年，所以如果5年内你不转出的话就会过期。。。
，具有买卖股票能力的checking account。我在Schwab的经验就是这样，不要以为
brokerage account是什么古怪的东西。存进去的钱人任何时候想去出来都可以，存在

是两个真的是分开的，可以没啥关系，单开任何一个都可以。开mySmart Cash是没有开
brokerage时候那些所谓的bonus mile的

发帖数: 2045 | 7 第一步：找一家brokerage开个户。Vanguard和Fidelity都可以。
第二步：开Traditional IRA。每年可以存$5,000进去用来投资。这$5,000在你每年报
税的时候1040表上可以deduct，也就是说相当于税前，不收你收入税了。这么好的东东
，每年可惜就限制你只能存这么多。记住现在(4月15号之前）你还可以存去年（2011）
的$5,000。
*注意：这个有条件。工资太高不行，有其他的401k不行。详见：

第三步：看你收入符不符合Roth IRA，符合的话在上面的brokerage开一个Roth存$5,
000每年。这个用税后的钱，但是投资收益不收税（tax deferred）。
第四步：如果你收入太高了，上面两个都不行的话，还可以用Traditional IRA to
Roth IRA conversion每年存$5,000到Roth IRA里面。这个步骤自己google吧。

开户以后我在网站上申请了cash management account的debit card，另外看到
Brokerage的debit card要求有5000的minimum balance？不知道这个我没申请会不会自
动给寄过来？

我猜fidelity给我寄email说我没到75k是指cash account？
我连同注册前1个月cycle的，加上之后1个月cycle的，应该刚好到线

后来尝试brokerage，成功。

account拿mileage都是五年前的事情了。
这次对existing account有效的新offer出来后，星期四下午注册了UA，星期四晚上注
册了AA，都是用的同一个brokerage acount。
星期五收到UA ineligibility account email，星期二又收到AA ineligibility.
星期五要求了转2w5。下周再来update是否有mileage。

its 100 free trades per month.
Although I have found Merrill's brokerage to be too conservative and blocks
trading on many ETFs and partnerships, some not even using leverage. For
those of course you want to leave at other brokerage. |

management挂钩，其实是有一个银行来管理的，坏处就是ACH特别慢，其他还好。Cash
Management本身可以当作Brokerage，所以你可以单开一个cash management足够了，
Cash management是FDIC insured的，brokerage不是。你也可以分开开两个，有些人喜
欢分开管理，我喜欢越简单越好。IRA是宁外一个账户，IRA是没有debit卡的。 |

爸爸妈妈从国内寄来一件外套。找了UPS快递。当时收了妈妈250 RMB。
今天老公取包裹的时候，UPS又要老公交60刀费用，说什么brokergae fee。我妈妈当时
邮寄的时候，收信员没有告知要收这个费用，只是非要拿走发票，发票上金额折合美金
大概300多刀。我妈妈也不知道怎么回事，就给他们了。
结果送包裹的ups说，这个费用60刀本来该我妈妈出，但是没有人告诉我妈妈应该出这
笔费用，所以该我们收件人出。可是为什么邮寄的时候，ups没跟我妈妈说清楚呢？？
？如果当时说还要出60刀，我们肯定选别的快递。我们后来问了一下，别的快递是不需
要这个费用的，只有ups要。
60刀说多也不是很多，但是心里很不舒服。后来就给ups客服电话，ups美国这边说这是
brokerage fee+customes duty， 说一定要收，后来又让我们ca |

both types of accounts under one firm such as fidelity, you only need to
declaim your brokerage account.
Be sure to ask whether your family member is also included.
You can still trade stock/option but you need get pre-approve on each trade
