雷的）在伊拉克呆过15个月（OIF III - IV)的。
当年自己class 22/375 因为对军队感兴趣曾经学校辅导员建议读西点的。不过提前体
会了ROTC以后还是决定当自己的小士官了。
从美军系统来看，军官一个是当传声筒，一个是要认识人（各种裙带）。而且美军是少
见的只有军功不能晋升将军，必须靠国会议员推荐的才行。 这样历史上超牛人 类似
Boyd 或者 米切尔（空中国防论提升者）都是出不了头的（都是典型为了真理脾气烂的
牛人）Boyd还是升上去以后被撸掉了将星。 而且军官晋升很多时候互相踩，一些比较
恶劣的军官靠牺牲手下博晋升的也不是没有。
不过士官竞争就公平很多，根据大家的职业（MOS）用各种标准排积分，然后分高的晋

，也不会遭到警方起诉。但是，警方在收缴武器时会进行检查。如果发现上缴的武器曾
参与过违法犯罪活动，警方就会起诉武器持有人。
这个建议的发起人是埃德蒙顿市警察局局长Mike Boyd。今年春天，Boyd就曾经打算在
爱城颁布了一个类似的法令。但是，亚省政府要求爱城有关部门将这一法令拖后，因为

自从这个Boyd来了德州，就横扫德州各种tournament的男单高手，
据称（没有确认过）YJ在他手上不过10，这个YJ是谁，你懂的。
有次UT来我们学校打一年一度的对抗赛，老顾居然带了Boyd来打一双，
于是B带了一个刚开始起步的小孩轻松灭掉我们的一双，
不过那个小孩后来跟着B学球，成长飞快，迅速成为了UT的一单，
这当然是后话了。
然后我就离开Texas了，不知道现在风云变幻何许了。呵呵。

CVX 是个 Software Interface， 向你的问题如果Y 是常量，就可以调用CVX来接。
Basically, there is a software package called SiDuMi or other optimization
packages, usually it's not so easy for beginners to use these packages. So
Boyd and his student Michael Grant wrote a interface. you only need to
write in Matlab a pseduo-laguage code, such as
min f(x) s.t Ax<=b, then the CVX translate your objective and
automatically
call functions in SiDuMi to solve your problem.

访问中国的。
这些人不只是在北京，也去了不少其他的地方。比如说，1960年加拿大总理特鲁多(
Pierre Trudeau)就去了好些地方，还写了一本书，名字是，Two Innocents in Red
China，书里还专门批驳了所谓大饥荒的说法，证实中国没有饥荒。
联合国粮农组织的负责人John Boyd-orr爵士，1959年访华，也表示中国当时并没有饥
荒。
还有英国陆军元帅蒙哥马利，1960年1961年两次访华，他的说法是，“中国没有大规模
的饥荒，只在有的地方粮食不足。”
所以说，三年自然灾害期间，的确是有局部地区吃不饱。这一点是没有疑问的。蒙哥马
利既然知道这一点，就说明当时中国并没有隐瞒，并没有欺骗外宾。
事实上，在邓小平等走资派上台之前，压根就没有所谓三千万的说法。也没有所谓大规
模饿死人的说法。饿死三千万的伤痕文学基本上都是从80年代开始尘嚣直上的。
另外一点就是，很多人说那个年代没有饿死人的照片，没有人面黄肌瘦皮包骨头的照片

中国在1959-1961年期间的确存在吃不饱的现象，极为个别的地区（也就是不到1%的地
区），存在非正常死亡的现象，但是把这夸大成“大饥荒”是属于夸大其词，因为缺乏
任何佐证来证明1959-1961年的“饥荒”达到了1943年华北大饥荒的水平。而根据2011
年一篇学术研究论文的数据，1943年华北大饥荒也不过死了50万人。
1943年华北大饥荒留下了很多人面黄肌瘦，破衣烂衫，啃光了树皮，甚至饿死街头的照
片。而1959-1961年呢？连一张反映中国人严重营养不良的照片都没有。有人说，那时
候就不让照相。但是呢，现在版上又贴出来了雷锋的好多照片。要知道，雷锋可是死后
才出名的，生前谁知道他是谁啊。照片也不可能是伪造的。而雷锋恰恰死于1962年，正
好他经历了那个三年自然灾害的困难时期。
所以说，如果有人再拿1959-1961年中国私人不让拍照来解释为什么找不到一张饿殍遍

大部份地震是不可準確地預測的，頂多預測一天前或之前幾小時的地震，但還是不可能
百分百準確。世界史上有那一次大地震可成功地避免傷亡？
陶君行反共反中成性，明知佢會抽中共水，真係，咬住四川地震話中共政府有意之前隱
瞞不報。但，世界上邊有咁蠢的政府明知有地震都唔理的，世界上邊有咁叻的政府及機
構可預測到地震的？
中共政府假如知道，做下預防，怕乜影響奧運？唔通中共政府認為之前隱瞞不報，到而

周三凌晨4时30分前，急救中心人员接到求助电话，前往艾斯米尔东大道(Ellesmere Ave. E.)以北维多利亚公园道(Victoria Park Ave.)的住宅，发现1名腹部多处刀伤的69岁男子。受害人被紧急送往医院救治，但最终因伤重宣告不治。
老翁不治 警拘一人
警方尚未公佈这名受害者的身份。
高级警长图彻纳(Staff Sgt. Gary Tutchener)表示：「目前调查仍然处于初级阶段。」不过，他证实，已收押1名警方感兴趣的人士。
这是多伦多新年以来的第四宗兇杀案。
女子公寓死亡 中年汉被控
约克区也发生2010年首宗兇杀案，周二晚在烈治文山市(Richmond Hill)的一栋柏文，1名48岁女子被发现死亡，警方已落案指控1名52岁男子谋杀罪。
约克区警方发言人鲍伊德(Const. Rebecca Boyd)表示，周二晚大约9时，警方接到报警，前往央街(Yonge St.)夹Carrville Rd.)附近的Weldrick Rd. W.一栋柏文，发现1名毫无生命迹象的女子。

发帖数: 5892 | 47 日前，埃德蒙顿(Edmonton)一名14岁少年被指控袭击一名31岁的女同性恋者，该女子称少年是仇恨犯罪(Hate Crime)。
袭击事件发生在4月17日，在76 Avenue和96 Street街区。周五，少年被捕，被指控严重袭击罪。
受害者Shannon Barry，下巴断裂，左眼眶被击碎，面部神经受损。
Barry称，当时她和5位朋友离开埃德蒙顿南的一家酒吧走在回家的路上，一群男子在街头另一边开始向她们喊叫，骂她们是“dykes”和“faggots”。
事件发生后，Barry在CBC News采访中称，当时其中一名男子走向她，踢打她的脸。然而在案发当天，警方没有访问任何目击者或立案侦查(违反了警察政策)，直至数天后，也就是在CBC News于周三曝光此事后。当时报道指出，一巡警在接到911电话后并没有按照常规程序进行调查——叫警犬队或直升机搜查袭击者的下落。
在访问几名目击者后，周六，警方召开新闻发布简会称，“此次袭击属于偶然案件，受害者不是被特意设定的目标”。

警方说﹐调查员还未证实3宗枪击案有关联。
警方没有公布受害人的身分﹐警员米哈里申(Const. Jason Michalyshen)周日说﹐威廉怀特(William Whyte)街区的枪击案﹐枪手向3户民宅开枪﹐警方从目击者口中取得有限的枪手资料﹐只知那人身高5呎8吋到6呎﹐年纪可能是20多岁。
枪手看来身穿全黑装束﹐靠步行和山地车代步。
警方说﹐首宗枪击案在晚间8时40分左右发生﹐斯特拉街(Stella Walk)柏文窗上可见弹孔。另外两宗枪击案随后发生﹐肇事地点在德化林街(Dufferin Street)和博伊德街(Boyd Avenue)。

骑警说﹐他们会检讨事件的处理手法。纽芬兰省居民则在网上讨论该案﹐质疑为何男子在屋内开枪﹐还能逃出屋外﹐警方懵然不知。
骑警周日发表声明说﹐他们在一周事件中「汲取很多经验和汲取教训」。
