我很幸运去邻州参加过两个候选人的竞选集会。
一个是Trump，提前三小时到但没能入场，
警察解释因为permit limit people capacity，
我没有reserve ticket，所以只能在场外，
不过看到Trump车队，一路上欢呼人群
很多。
一个是hillary， reserved ticket ，提前两小时
到，场内有两三百人，等待，三小时后人还没到，
期间只有走的，进的很少，我也先走了。到路边
才看到有人举着牌子招呼过往汽车进停车场，像
新开的手机店在揽客，场内估计只剩二百人左右，
应该就是一个birthday party。
诡异的是这个birthday party 的主人居然在这个州
民调领先几千人rally的主人5%以上。
你说怪不怪，也遗憾没能见到birthday party的主角，
毕竟她也是美国最大党的总统候选人。 |

幸福的生日，不如说释放一下那种异国他乡的离别情愫。
我闺女蜜儿来温哥华已经两年多了，其间度过了10岁和11岁两个生日，每个生日，妈妈
就是再忙，也都会不远万里来温哥华给孩子过生日，和孩子享受一个幸福的时辰。说不
好听的话，忘了老公的生日都行，闺女的生日决不能错过。
蜜儿在温哥华的学校里一直是非常受小朋友欢迎的“生日明星”，大凡有同学过生日，
只要这个同学意欲在班里邀请同学参加“birthday party”，蜜儿总会被邀请，几乎没
被拉下过，每每接到同学的生日邀请卡，孩子总是快乐不已，但可苦了老爹，每次参加
“birthday party”前，我都要忙活一阵子，为她准备生日礼物，参加生日那天，老爹
又得往返接送。
蜜儿自己的前两次生日，我都是在自己家里举行，中国传统老一套：吃蛋糕，吹蜡烛，
孩子玩，吃晚饭，临走给参加活动的孩子们带回去点小礼品。
蜜儿参加同学的生日“birthday party”，有中国同学的，也有西人同学的。

心举办party。时间定在下周六11点到1点。参加人员必须这周敲定。10天前就给现有班
上的21位小朋友发了邀请函，要求周四前回复。截至今天，就只收到了2份确认参加
party的信件。发愁死了。向各位有经验的妈妈讨教以下问题，在线等。多谢
（1） 是不是周六11点到1点的时间不合适，所以没人参加吗？还是因为平时和别的家
长联系太少的缘故（惭愧中）？如果时间不合适，还能临时改时间，再重发一份通知吗？
