the same daycare with my son. Her mom told everyone do not buy gifts and if
they really want to bring something,bring something used. I ended up not
going since my son was sick but I am pretty confident that they had a great
party and guests followed the no-gift rule.
They did not do invitation/ thank you note either. |

光有蛋糕吃，还有礼物收。但每次看见她吃那些个甜得吓人的蛋糕，我都非常不理解。
但娃她喜欢啊，她又不强迫我吃。
不过美国这个birthday party 这么盛行，我压力也很大。每到周末，光是开车到处找

丫头三岁了，成天惦记着她的生日。她倒不在乎礼物。在乎birthday dress, birthday
cake. 我们没刻意写不要礼物。但是估计礼物当时不会打开。等私下看过了，留一部
分，以后一个一个拿出来给她。然后另一部分看着送人。
其实开party 怎么着也要300-500$，要是为礼物，多少礼物都买了。 |

birthday对小朋友就是一个fun package，party啦，cake啦，吹蜡烛，拆礼物，
对小孩子来说，是个special day.
想慈善，平时学校经常组织捐款捐衣服捐food,带着孩子都参加，把不用的新的东西捐
出去。这个平时的教育最潜移默化吧。
小朋友来参加party是来have fun的，不是来接受教育的呀。

laser tag game, my boy has been to 2 such parties and loved it
also look for places that offer Lego themed parties, here we have snapology,
not cheap but looks like fun for young boys
or just google "birthday party" + your location, there might be websites
that aggregate such info for you |

party”. 直到三岁生日前三个星期的一个周末， 他开始再一次念叨时，我决定给他办
生日派对了。因为是第一次办，很多地方都是摸着石头过河，感谢网上的妈妈们的分享。
地方：
一个周六，去考察了三个地方，包括网上推荐的Pump it up, Chuck n Cheese 及本地
的一个公园。考察结果：
Pump it up 更适合三岁多甚至四岁以上的小朋友，如果是第一次不会玩，两岁多的很
多会有点害怕。九九自己还是很喜欢的。我们以前在这里参加过生日派对，感觉90分钟
很赶，工作人员不停的push进入下个环节，因为下面还要一家排在后面等着用场地。
Chuck n Cheese: 第一次来，相当于国内的电子游戏机房加快餐厅，费用上应该最便宜
。小朋友很喜欢，最喜欢的是在空中的那个playground, 但是大多数的游戏还不会玩.
。同时觉得这里更适合稍微大一点的孩子，个人感觉有点乱哄哄的，不太干净。
公园：这个公园环境很好，有小火车，旋转木马，冰淇淋房，playground都在一起，可

Air, and Great Play.
I had my son's birthday party last Saturday at Catch Air. It is similar to
Monkey Joe, but with more activities for younger kids.
