材料，但是一篇review都没有，很惭愧：（ 希望本版大侠能有多余的review文章转让
，非常感谢
本人背景是：
统计PhD，phd阶段研究的领域比较理论，那时候发的文章也没有citation，对那个领域
的review兴趣也不是很大
目前在biotech公司做clinical biostatistician两年多，主要领域在癌症临床一期到
三期的study。同时也做biomarker分析。
citation：工作之后有一篇n作去年发表的(IF 11,nature 子刊)，其他conference
abstract，总共加起来有
40+。因为都是和很多作者挂名，不知道这样的算不算啊~
没有review经历

工作已经两年多了，EB2 也在进行中，之所以之前完全没有想申请O1或者EB1B，因为觉
得自己的case太弱，不太可能中，所以懒得折腾，就鸵鸟的等H1B了。。。也求大家帮

这个偶像我可不敢当，呵呵。
我早先已经拿到细胞生物的phd了，现在是在读一个生物信息的master，今年夏天毕业。
比较倾向于找生物信息方面的工作，公司，或者合适的实验室去做postdoc。
生物信息方面，python,perl和r的编程都还可以，python用的最多，r也经常用，会用mysql，熟悉常用的生物软件和数据库，统计课也上过一些，比如线性回归什么的。俺现在的研究方向是生物分子进化，所以对于序列分析和进化分析比较熟悉。
比较想找生物数据分析方面的工作，比如序列分析，ngs data 分析，biomarker分析等，如果有其他方面的opening，也愿意试试，我自己还是比较好学的，也喜欢做一些新的东西。
san diego当地生物公司，学校和研究所挺多的，以前也去san diego玩过，很喜欢，所以希望在这里碰碰运气。san diego版上热心人也很多，如果哪位有相关的工作或者intern信息，请给我投个条，一定有大包子奉上，表示感谢！ |

如果是技术工作就重点突出你所掌握的相关技能。如果是管理工作就要体现你的
Leadership, teamwork, communication。值得注意的是故事不是准备的越多越好，而
是job description上面的每一点最好你都准备一个相关的故事，比如要求你会癌症细
胞Biomarker检测，你就讲个故事说明你用过什么创新的方法又快又好的完成任务。注
意每个故事都有相应的point，是说明你的creativity还是time management抑或hard
working====讲完故事记得有结束语突出你这个论点。
另外要花至少一天读公司相关的report和news。Wall St Journal挺不错，另外学校如
果能下到analyst关于公司的分析报告最好。这项工作主要是增加你对公司的了解，面试
时候可以提出相关问题体现你对这个工作和公司的强烈兴趣。
最后我想指出的是，HR和hiring manager问的问题和回答的方式是完全不同的。跟HR主

根本就没有癌症.
有很多癌症检测的marker,阳性时,有必要做全面检查,以排除隐患.假阳性海了去了.绝
大多数marker的特异性和灵敏度都是有限的.从没有只依据某一个biomarker来下诊断结
论的.
比如前列腺癌的一个marker PSA,常被列在诊断依据里.但实际上,这个marker特异性,灵
敏度都不高.PSA marker阳性而没有癌症的不要太多.
这例子就是一个典型marker阳性,而被医生排查,最后没有检出癌症的例子.
自己吓自己.
神迹基本都是这样的.

发帖数: 1187 | 48 首先得能发现个体的特异性差别。DNA/RNA的估计能指望NGS，protein要指望antibody
array/MS似乎还有很长一段路（希望aptamer array能迎头赶上呵呵）。小分子（
glycan
，metabolite，etc。最近出了个sarcosine）呢？lectin特异性太烂。希望aptamer
能顶上？不然也许只能指望HPLC之类能high throughput了？
其次得能把差别和各种physiological/pathological condition联系起来。这个ms进
展也太太太太慢了吧？就说cancer吧，有几个大家都服气的diagnostic/prognostic
/endpoint biomarker？一个PSA用了这么久，还一直被批。
最后要能根据这些差别来调节therapeutic regimen。Y/N型的或差别大的好办，学
herceptin
附赠个kit就是。检测分辨率不够的话呢？最好还是能够下一样的药，对不同的人达
到不同的效果，controlled release？也许就要在delivery method上做文章了？各

发帖数: 1187 | 49 Thx for the info. the major problem w/ targeted delivery seems to be the
targeting ligand. it's really hard to find a targeting ligand that:
1. bind to a surface marker that is a very specific disease marker
2. have good affinity (nM preferred)
3. can internalize efficiently (usually means that the marker it binds
internalize constitutively).
I really want to find a senior cancer researcher to get some insider info
about the authenticity and expression profile of all the cancer surface
biomarker |
