bulk of the cuts coming from Nokia itself. The acquisition of Nokia's

前些年有些人对钱钟书的指责大都不着边际：指责老钱没有知识分子的社会良心，
人家是书斋里的学者，又不是职业学运分子；说他学问做得太小，没有自己建构一
套思想体系云云，则完全是近年来学风虚浮的反映——人人谈思想，无人做学问，
整天云遮雾罩地空谈没有任何内容的大理论，误导学生。
反之，赞誉钱钟书的读者多佩服他学贯中西，通晓多门外语，旁征博引，论证
严谨，高山仰止。然而在我看来，钱钟书的问题恰恰全都出在考据学的严谨上。
举《谈艺录》我随手翻到的三个例子：
1)(六)神韵之附说八 钱氏好为比较文学，将中西相似或暗合的说法罗列比对。
此处言西洋mind与soul之殊，一通眼花缭乱的引文之后，云“Nous也，Animus也，
