That includes family idols. When Gideon tore down the altar his father had
built to pagan gods,
his family wanted to kill him (Judges 6:30). Why? Because he was upsetting the
way things had
always been done in his family. Sound familiar? If "the way things have always
been done" in your family excludes God, it has to be changed. Those who do not
acknowledge God, end up playing God!
